My professional career began in 2000 in the IT staffing industry. Many of the individuals that I recruited were web designers who were working as independent contractors. I learned firsthand how expensive some web designers could be and just how much they were gouging small businesses for their services.
As time passed, I began to witness a paradigm shift in how websites could be built. Attractive and functional websites were becoming more accessible and affordable. In July 2014, I opened MYOB Small Business Web Solutions to provide a cost-effective web design alternative to smaller-sized businesses.
In September 2015, I registered «Skylands Web Design» as a dba to enhance my local and regional outreach.
