Meet the Manager

David S.

Manager

David originally hails from the Washington D.C. area. He attended college at Brigham Young University. Later he received a master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University. This education has provided him with unique expertise in the field of environmental law as an attorney.

After working for years helping large manufacturing companies achieve compliance with federal environmental laws, David decided to attend law school. He received his law degree from the University of Memphis in 2004. He practiced law in Memphis for a few years before moving to Utah to join Stevenson & Smith, which his brother Tom Stevenson helped to found.

David is an accomplished jazz musician, and frequently plays with several local groups. He is also a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He enjoys fly fishing and whitewater kayaking when he has time away from the practice of law.
