Established in 1974.

Living Scriptures was originally a collaboration of its owners to create, duplicate, and directly market scripture audio stories.

After creating 7 amazing audio series they contracted Richard Rich from Disney to produce Animated Stories on the Scriptures starting with Nephi and the Brass Plates from the Book of Mormon and the King is Born from the New Testament.

Later they produced live-​action documentaries on the history of the Church and the Modern Prophets. Millions have enjoyed these uplifting products that teach families good principles and impact lives.

Living scriptures is such a terrible business that they don’t even deserve 0 stars. I was completely appalled by how they treated me as an employee. My interview went well, Abby (the girl who hired me) told me I would start training the following Monday and would call me with the time to show up for orientation. Not only did she not call me, but I received no contact from the company for 3 weeks. I showed up to the business twice in person, called 7 times only to be directed to voicemails each time, and even sent an email to Gaye Frandsen the HR woman about trying to come to work and no replies were given. I honestly would never recommend anyone to waste their time and their energies dealing with this company.

I have never minded sales people or their tactics. I just try and get my questions answered before I sign. I knew it was a contract when I signed up for Living Scriptures. I do understand the frustration of other reviewers but I have loved this product. It has taught my children in ways that I couldn’t do on my own. They are powerful. Just ask questions before you buy. You won’t regret it.
