Torchys Beer & Wine Bar

Worst bar ever!!! Do not waste your time. Wine was flat, beer selection was awful as well as wine. Terrible atmosphere. I would rate zero stars if I could.

Horrible bar. Went there the selection was non existent and the crowds average was 62. Hole in the wall bar with a slim selection of beverages.

Went a couple times thought it was good at first till we came one night for a couple beers only to be turned away as the bartender sat outside drinking with owners buddies and friends. Try to support local small business and u get the shaft havnt been back and dnt have good things to say. There’s nothin to do at this place anyway. Its like hanging out in someone’s crackpot garage–

How can u not love a place that has Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, great service & outdoor seating? When my beer is almost done, eleven of I’m outside, the bartenders bring another out ice cold. Plus the pizza place next door is awesome and You can it at the bar! Love this place!

Me and the chica stopped by this local pub on a slow weekday because we got a coupon in a local publication. Out of curiosity and eagerness to try new bars, we decided to stop in. We were happy to find a nice mixture of people of all ages, as well as some slightly sophisticated folks. I think we were expecting more of a dive bar crowd considering the back woods area. The décor was visually appealing and the plethora of beers and wine was great. there were actually so many wine choices, I had trouble picking one. I particularly liked the way the wine menu is broken out by price per glass. I think the thing that excited us the most was learning that this bar doubles as a piano bar, which they do Thursday thru Sunday in the evenings. I can’t wait to get back and see what that’s like.
The owner, who is a former pitcher for my favorite baseball team’s farm league, was a nice fellow, and he has my full support in his venture!

I haunted this place in the middle of the week with sheer curiosity and was amazed to find this tiny hole inhabited with a more than a couple lax locals. My visit there spurs only more curiosity. What’s it like when the 20-​something student is at his piano? Can I really use this coupon from Saver’s Digest to purchase take home beers? What will jump out of the dark forestry across the street? What I do know is that the beer and wine offerings are pretty damn good. Angela’s pizza next door seems to have a good relationship with this former pitcher now bar owner, so if desperate for feed you can head next door and bring some questionable food back, or straddle the line between both properties on the outdoor tables. The libations can range from fine craft beers to lavish pricey wines. If this is a lazy weeknight, I can’t wait to head back and see more. Careful on those dark and windy roads in Odessa! I speak from experience.
