Our funeral home and crematory is a family owned and operated business. We walk with families through their grief and assist them every step of the way in honoring the memory of the deceased.

History

Established in 2005.

Acres West is a sister funeral home to Family Services Funeral Parlor in Kermit which opened in 2002. It is owned and operated by Kay and Michael Judd, her son and daughter-​in-​law, Vic and Amy Woods, and Amy’s brother, John Hudson. Much of the remaining staff are also family members or close family friends. Starting with a small home, Acres West has been lovingly remodeled and added to in order to become a place where families can come together to honor the memory of a loved one. All of our staff strive to serve families of the Permian Basin with thoughtfulness, compassion, and respect.
