Liyi was phenomenal! I had an appointment and she was ready for me. She made me feel welcome and took care of me. I went to a different nail salon 3 weeks ago and the person there was not a good nail technician. He cut me deeply on my thumb and on my toes. Liyi was able to identify where he cut me. I didn’t even have to tell her. That is a true nail technician! I would recommend her to anyone!

This place is great. I’ve visited numerous times and have never been disappointed. My most recent visit was with Kate, who was phenomenal. She’s friendly, takes her time and does a fantastic job. The environment is relaxing and clean. I would highly recommend the salon for anyone looking for a spa-​like environment.

I have been to Bliss Nails & Spa on a couple of occasions. Overall, it is nicely decorated, new and a nice addition to the area. I have visited the salon for nails and waxing. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the health and safety practices of waxing at the salon. The estheticians routinely double-​dip the wax sticks when waxing. This can transmit infections between clients. Additionally, there were some other awkward treatments/​movements/​applications by the esteticians. I was trying to give the salon and estheticians the benefit of the doubt as I do like the convenience and nice setup of the salon, and did try the salon again, but even with different estheticians, the double-​dipping and questionable health practices continued. I do not recommend this salon for waxing services.

Got a milk and Honey pedicure along with a gel manicure and Kate was amazing!!! Will definitely be returning for another relaxing experience!

I read the reviews on Unilocal and based on the pictures and what people said I decided to try it out. I called about an hour before they closed and asked if they could fit a gel manicure and pedicure in, and they very willingly said yes! When I got there I was greeted and brought to my pedicure chair. The place is very clean and the ambience is VERY relaxing. The place is less than a year old. Kate took care of all my needs. She was gentle on my feet as I’m super ticklish. She took the time to make
Sure both my toes and nails looked perfect, making touch ups here and there. She made nice conversation with me and stayed 40 minutes after they closed to finish my appointment. Needless to say I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be going back as well as bringing my friends and making sure people know about this place. Thanks Kate!

I love the calm atmosphere at Bliss and tried a new product… Victoria told me about SNS, a powder that looks like polish, is amazing and lasts for 2 weeks!!! No chipping at all, very pleased with the product and Victoria did an amazing job. Keep it up Bliss!

Being an Oden-​townie, I was very excited to have a new nail salon. This place is gorgeous inside — really upscale looking and well done. However, there is still the business of quality salon services to be had.
I’ve tried a manicure, which was average at best. I’ve tried a pedicure, which was below average. They have a menu of pedicure services; I was told by the person at the front desk to choose one and tell her and she would tell the nail tech. I did… I chose a $ 50 pedicure! The nail tech did not provide that service. My pedicure lasted for 15 min. And that 15 min was not that good.
Like I said, I want so badly to like this place. I decided to not see them anymore for nail services and just to go for waxing. I have had so many good eyebrow waxes here… until yesterday. The lady was no one I had ever seen before. She was rushing and seemed exasperated. She not only waxed my eyebrows, but also my eyelid. Ripping hot wax off of your eyelid is not a good feeling. I said — UM THAT’S MY EYELID. «No…» was how she responded as she didn’t clean the wax off of my eyelid, rather, she kept using the cloth to try to rip the excess wax off of it. NOPE.
She also got wax in my hair, which I found hours later.

Got my nails done here and it was done nicely. I got the gel manicure. It state’s it last for 3 week’s. We shall see. I did enjoy the hand rub and the way they removed the old gel polish. I noticed the other techs were replenishing the refrigerator with water. My tech didn’t offer any though. That would have been nice. Maybe he didn’t think because I was a newbie l was going to offer him a tip. Wrongggg he did receive his tip in cash so maybe next time he will offer. Who knows as long as my nails continue to look nice that’s all that matters. I paid $ 30.00 for a gel mani and they charge $ 5.00 to remove it. So far it’s been 10 days and polish is still going strong.
Not bad at all. I would definitely return.

Great experience! The place is beautiful and the décor modern, and the manicure and pedicure were done very nicely.

I called the next day to complain about the hack job that the last nail technician did on my feet. Kate (I’m assuming is the manager) was more then happy to fix the problem. I came in and it was redone. She was wonderful. When we decided to go back, Kate is the only one I’m having

This is a great nail salon! I’m new to the area and tried it for the first time today. It’s clean, bright and beautifully decorated. You can tell that they are sanitary — one of the few places that lines the pedicure bowls and uses UV lighting to sterilize the tools The manicure and pedicure I got were great. I docked one star simply because the callous remover was an extra $ 5 on top of the basic pedicure. I did like that they explained things that cost more before going ahead and doing them, but I’ve never had an extra charge for the callous remover gel before. Overall though, great experience. I will definitely be back.

My friend and I went here and we both decided on a full set with gel. As we sat, we were both given a small bottle of water, very nice, thank you. As the process began, initially the tech was quiet, which I don’t mind. Small talk isn’t my strong suit.
The nail tech seemed a bit annoyed when it came to length. Then as she continued the process, she kept talking to the other workers. She was so enthralled with talking to her coworkers, while using the tool that shaves down the cuticle area, she went too deep and after saying ouch and pulling my hand back a couple times I look down to see my nail bed bled. I’ve never been in any sort of pain when I’ve gotten my nails done before. So there’s a star there.
She finishes up and I go to pay. I mention I’m military and the cashier replies they only do military on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I say the website doesn’t say that and I rechecked the website when I got home — and it does not say any specific dates. So there’s another star there.
My friend was also cut on her finger by her tech, but her experience is a whole other story.

This place is AMAZING I wish I could give more stars. I have a stellar experience every time I come here, and we are talking about a nail salon! The owner is so wonderful, very helpful and always on the floor. I bumped my nails once in a hurry out the door, without hesitation she noticed started to fix it. I might have just sadly left but was so happy I didn’t need to debate it.
Very sanitary! Love the uv lights they have to sterilize as well as the use of clean tools fresh from the pouch. I watched them open it.
Great nail selection, they have high end polish that’s a bit more expensive BUT won’t let you just use it without letting you know first, which I really appreciated.
I also love that they don’t just take the easy way and file the gel polish off your nails. That process is really hard on my nails and makes them so thin. They take the time and do it right to preserve your natural nail (gel version of nail polish remover).
Clean, big, bright atmosphere! Will be back often, (I’ll be in today!)This place just opened a few months ago and I very highly recommend.

Very clean and staff is extra friendly. Really like the manager Britney. 10 minutes after we left my daughters and my nails or smudged. Too many layers and not enough drivetime in between is my guess. Went right back in and Britney had the staff touch up our nails. With no dirty looks or issues they redid both of our smudged nails with a smile Gotta love good customer service! We will be back

The staff is very friendly and the salon is very clean and decorated nicely. I felt that the color selections were slim compared to other salons nearby. I paid for and extra 10 minute foot massage with my pedicure and was very unsatisfied. The lady basically rubbed lotion on my legs for 10 minutes, there was no massage about it. My friend, on the other hand, received a great foot massage.
I likely will not return to this salon as I was unsatisfied with the services.

I wish they did SNS or LIQUID gel nails here for the folks who are allergic to the acrylic and the liquid that the acrylic uses.
They have a cute little chair for kids (I kept that gender neutral… look at me being politically correct… heeeyyy).

The was my first visit to Bliss, and I must say I am very pleased. The workers were all friendly and pleasant… Kim, was who worked on me… The massage on my legs, the time taken on my feet was MOST EXCELLENT… the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the expense… I would only be able to visit this spa once every few months…$ 60 (price plus good tip) is a lot just for a pedicure… maybe that much for a basic mani and a WORKS pedi would be great. Maybe it’s something for the Bliss team to think about… otherwise, it was a good experience and I will go back…

I have been trying different nail salons in the area since last summer, without finding a place that I really loved. In passing, I saw the sign for a «Grand Opening» promotion of 20% so I gave them a call for an appointment. The receptionist was friendly and the date and time that I requested was readily available. Several days later I was on my way to the new salon.
When walking in, the place is very clean and well designed. The staff was extremely friendly and explained all the options that were available. I chose to go with their 50 minute Milk and Honey Pedicure ($ 45). I was offered a bottle of water and the receptionist showed me how to use the massaging chair’s features. I noticed that the salon also has 2 kid’s pedicure stations with a very cute butterfly motif. That’s a first for me and I was very impressed. My technician wore a smile on her face the entire time and was very thorough with the process. I didn’t need anything extensive and she complimented me on how smooth the bottoms of my feet were. After about an hour, my treatment was complete.

This lovely little oasis is located in The Village at Odenton Station.
I received an OPI Orange Pedicure and Gel Manicure today. When I let the front desk staff know I was looking for both gel and traditional products, they kindly offered to help me find matching colors from the wall rack and gel nail display wheels. The wall rack primarily houses OPI shades, but the gel nail selection includes Gelish along with several other popular brands. All the polishes on the wall rack and gel nail wheels are numbered, and upon selecting a color the staff then pulls the corresponding bottle for use from behind the main counter — so the wall rack is always stocked and in order.
My technician was very thorough with all steps of the process, and I felt every step was handled in a very hygienic manner. The tools that were used arrived to the station sealed in an autoclave pouch, and she wore gloves throughout the entire pedicure. Other technicians that did not have clients were carefully tidying and cleaning different areas of the room.
There’s no blaring television or stark walls here — soft music and wood, stone, and greenery create a very relaxing, luxurious atmosphere.
It’s very nice to see a business that focuses on nail services retain the ambiance of a traditional spa setting. I’ll definitely be back.
