We were walking the dog around Fowler Lake, and were pleased to come across this store. As their sign says, dogs are welcome and people are tolerated.
What a great little pet shop! They offer a great array of handmade dog treats, including mini muffins. You can also bring in a picture of your dog and have it painted onto a window frame for about $ 100 — what a great gift to give your favorite dog lover!
They’ve got a few things for cats, too — I bought a catnip mouse for my two cats back in Colorado.

I love the doggy bag! Always a joyous experience going there. My dog loves it there and he loves the house dog Duncan! There is a nice selection of toys for small pups to large dogs and a few things for cats.
The best part about the Doggy Bag is the bakery :)
The treats are so delish looking I eat them myself sometimes… sorry Dozer…
and not to forget the service, the owners of this fine establishment are the friendliest and funniest bunch I know and the window displays are unforgettable! I make it a point to go there every time I’m in Oconomowac.

Although they call themselves a «Bakery and gift shop for dogs and cats,» there’s not too much there for cats. (I did find an adorable purple food dish there and there are collars and leashes and the like), but the real magic of this place is the in-​house bakery. There are all different sorts of treats there (some that look like chocolate chip cookies) that it made me want a dog just so I could get him treats. I will definitely go back there when I’d like to make a gift basket for a canine friend.
