A Little Slice of Heaven

We have ordered cakes for everything from birthdays to first communions. Always had good luck and I highly recommend them.

Lynn baked cake & cupcakes for my wedding May 16, 2015 at Bristolcone Pines. Her cupcakes were such a hit, that as soon as they were set out, within 15 minutes they were gone. It’s been a month since the wedding and we are still getting compliments on just how amazing our cake and cupcakes were. Not only were the cake and cupcakes delicious the day of the wedding, but a month later when we took our anniversary cake out of the freezer, it was just as good as the day it was made. I would recommend Lynn and her cake and cupcakes to anyone and everyone!!! I will be using her again for sure, and cannot wait to have her cake again! Lynn is truly an amazing baker!

I called on a Thursday to request a Birthday cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for Sunday morning. Lynn was super friendly and more than willing to accommodate. I gave her very little to go on (my daughter wanted a Tangled theme) and we were blown away when we picked up the cake! Not only did it look AMAZING, but it tasted AMAZING as well. It was the talk of the party. This bakery was a pleasure to do business with and I am recommending her to anyone & everyone!

Wedding cakes are a tricky business. The cakes are so big and have to be made so far ahead of time (and usually with fondant), that they don’t always taste very good. But my fiancé (now husband) is a big fan of good food, so we made that our top priority in picking a cake and reception venue.
By the time we got to Lynn Riemer at Little Slice of Heaven, we’d tried a bunch of cakes. So many that even I — with my compulsive need for baked goods — was beginning to pray for salad. But the second we tasted Lynn’s cakes, the others seemed like cardboard by comparison.
The two flavors we chose were a traditional chocolate with buttercream frosting (my favorite), and margarita. And let me tell you, that margarita cake may be one of the best things I’ve eaten in my entire life. You could audibly hear a rippled gasp in the reception hall as people started to eat the cake. Way to go, Little Slice of Heaven! If we can invent any reason for future margarita cakes on trips to Wisco, you’re the place!
