Orlando Seamstress is both a clothing designer and a seamstress. You can have something created or have your clothing adjusted, changed, or fixed to solve most problems that you might have. Although I am a professional ballroom dance costume designer, I also create many other items for ladies such as evening wear, blouses, skirts and even costumes for special events. It is not unusual for people to bring me special items that must be reproduced in very close detail to what they have.

Weddings are another area I can really make a difference for you. Whether it is a beautiful bridal gown or something for the entourage, you will find it is possible to do things that you might not have realized .

In my earlier days of sewing, it would not be unusual for my clients to just bring me a picture of a designer dress and give me a request to make a duplicate. I enjoy creating beautiful things and I particularly enjoy working with ladies in helping them make something that has never before existed and is designed to fit them perfectly.

Wedding dresses, evening wear, and now ballroom dance costumes are a big part of my normal work requirements. I have found ballroom dance costumes to be an excellent task to really practice my skills as they must be beautiful and fit absolutely perfectly while requiring much movement at the same time. Plus, they are adorned with many wonderful details that all aid in making any design much more interesting.

My husband is a retired Army colonel and we have three girls that living away from home. Two are married and living in Virginia and the youngest is a professional ballroom dancer living in St Petersburg.
