From time to time I stop by Nathan’s to have some lunch because it’s convenient considering I spend so much time on the Turnpike. This Nathan’s is located away from the plaza at the Shell gas station. I was surprised to find that they serve more than just hot dogs. I decided on ordering the Philly Cheesesteak on a roll and I was pleasantly surprised. The roll was fresh and the meat itself had good flavor. Seating is very limited and the only tables available are located outside. Prices are high but when dining at rest areas, there’s a premium.

A great relatively new Nathan’s right on the FL turnpike!!! Finally something good and reasonably priced while you’re traveling the state.
Of course their hot dogs are a long time sure thing but there are several other items to choose from. Try their Chix sandwich and don’t forget the fries!
This is not located in the plaza but in the more convenient service station where you can gas up and get a quick beverage and dog at the same time.
