Pier and Ida Q.

Business Owner

NER OWNERS, Ida and Pier, mother and son, come from the region of Calabria, Italy. Ida is an Italian chef. Pier after finishing his studies and a brief experience in restaurant business from Sicily and Calabria, they decide to come to the US and start in the restaurant business.

After searching for a long time, they find Carlo’s Diner and it’s «love at first sight» and they buy it.

For Ida is a new and exciting experience, having to face the American cooking is interesting and stimulating at the same time. Pier, other than learning the American way of cooking he’s also a huge fan of it!

Together, they found the perfect place to express their own style, because Carlo’s Diner differs from all the other «fast food», where every dish is created with fresh and natural ingredients that come from farms around the area, similarly to the real Italian cuisine.

Ida and Pier have become now part of the community family and they await you from 6am to 2pm.
