Hello My Zumba Lovin’ Sunshines! I was introduced to Zumba in 2009 and knew immediately that it was going to be my favorite ‘Me Time’ activity.

Zumba is much more than than a fitness class to me. Of course I have seen the physical benefits of doing Zumba regularly (losing weight and inches), but more importantly, my self esteem has been lifted, I have met the most wonderful, supportive, and inspirational people who I sincerely call my Zumba Family.

Although I’m very outgoing, energetic, like to have fun, and consider myself a good Zumba student, I never imagined myself becoming a Zumba Instructor. After lots of encouragement and support from my family and friends, I decided to step out of my comfort zone of the student role and got licensed as an instructor and became a ZIN member in January 2013.

I’m enjoying this new chapter of my life called ‘Zumba with Mimi’ and I’m excited that you stopped by my page and are considering checking out my class!
