History
Established in 2012.
Christine, owner of Zell Childbirth and Lactation, started her career volunteering at a Pro Life clinic helping with breastfeeding information and support. She is a Certified Labor Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, Certified Placenta Specialist, and Childbirth Educator. She currently teaches her Birth, Your Way class, which she has available in a 5 week series, and also a 1 day accelerated class. She also teaches a Breastfeeding Basics class. She has worked to create her business to be a «one stop shop» so that parents don’t have to seek out several people to handle all of their birth related services, but can easily bundle them all into one location, making the process easier and stress free!
Meet the Business Owner
Christine Z.
Business Owner
My name is Christine. I am the mother of two beautiful boys, and the wife of a United States Marine who I’ve been married to for ten years. I started off my career volunteering at a Pro Life clinic helping mothers who wanted to or were breastfeeding. Shortly after, I started a volunteer breastfeeding support group, and have continued to lead meetings in my community. Just before I gave birth to my second son, in June of 2012 I took my CAPPA CLE training to become a Lactation Educator. Shortly after he born, I decided to dive into the birth world and became a Labor Doula. In February of 2013 I attended my CAPPA Labor Doula training. In 2014, I added Childbirth Education to my list of credentials.
Aside from staying busy in my business and volunteer work, I also homeschool my oldest son. In my spare time, I enjoy sewing and organic gardening. I am also passionate about baby wearing, cloth diapering, and co-sleeping.
