Your Local Webmaster’s beginning could be compared to Darwin’s theory of evolution. In 2004, Grant Kimball created U-​Turn Web Designs. After a few short years of freelance development, legal structure needed to be made. Thus, U-​Turn Web Designs became «Kimball Marketing Group, LLP», which soon hatched «Your Local Webmaster» in 2010. We believe «Your Local Webmaster» gives off a personal feel, and better reflects our dedication to our clients.

Grant Kimball began developing websites in the early stages of the «.COM boom». Since then, his technical savvy has expanded to meet the ever increasing demand of knowledge in web design. He has worked for major corporations such as Search Engine Optimization Incorporated, in which he honed in on his skills of SEO and online marketing. This was a paramount point in Grant’s journey to a «Jack of all Trades» web developer. As you may or may not know, SEO and internet marketing are key essentials for a successful website.

I stumbled upon Anna and was AMAZED by how quick, responsive, and talented she is. I gave her a very vague idea and she was able to make it happen! I love supporting local businesses and the Kimballs are great at what they do. Grant, on the web side of things, invested a lot of time into helping me solve a problem with my wordpress/​hosting/​web forwarding. Without knowing too much about SEO I was really cautious when I started looking for the right Webmaster to design and Optimize my website. After talking to dozens of other SEO companies, there was only one I found that really impressed me. I spoke with Grant for over an hour on the phone as he made it clear that he was interested in helping me through every phase of the project. He went into great detail on how we can optimize my website and how to rank high on Google using white hat practices. I was looking for a web master that could understand what my goals were even though I couldn’t fully describe them yet. Grant didn’t waste any time, he told me the better route to follow and translated what I wanted to do, into a tangible step by step plan of what we needed to do. He included me in the process every step of the way and within 48 hours I saw the first results of his handy work; a fully functional WORD PRESS ready website. I had no idea I would have the ability to edit the content on my website and be my own Web Master in a sense. Of course SEO involves a lot more work then just adding content to a website as Grant explained, but I was amazed at this new found ability to edit and add content from my own computer without being an expert. I now have the tools to participate in the entire optimizing process. I can honestly say I have never been more excited to learn about SEO then I am now after working with Grant on this project. His knowledge of SEO and Web design technology is impressive but it’s the intuitive nature of his work that will make your website or SEO endeavors successful.
