These guys are great! I’ve bought a few sets of tires from them over the years. They’re are friendly, knowledgeable, and have great prices.

I own a 70 Mach 1 Mustang and have had a very hard time getting it aligned right.
Had new Nittos put it on it a year ago. I took it to an alignment shop in San Marcos — they charged me a lot — caster/​camber adjusters came loose a week later and had it towed back there, they would not readjust without wanting to charge me again.
Took it to the Sears by the mall in Carlsbad, it took them an entire day to align the car, at which point it was still wrong and I had to help the guys on the rack before close — toe was still off and they threw in the towel. Drove it like this for a while and it wore out the new tires.
Took it to Big O in Carlsbad, they aligned it correctly ($ 300 later) except the steering wheel was 90 degrees to one side. They told me this was my issue.
Finally got another set of new front tires installed then asked a friend who works on a lot of old cars professionally and he recommend Westcoast. I took the car there on a Tuesday at 11 AM. They got it done the same day. No weird calls, no complaints, they knew what they were doing, charged me a very reasonable price, and got it done earlier than quoted.
Car drives the best it has in years — wheel is centered, cornering is good, car drives straight. I will definitely recommend the guys here to anyone I know with a classic car — the best in North County as far as I am concerned (and I’ve just about tried them all).

This shop is dishonest. I brought my car in with symptoms I thought were suspension related. The mechanic listed all the things that were wrong with the car, but didn’t stress that the things I agreed to do to the car wouldn’t fix the problem I brought it in for. There was an obvious lack of communication of their part. He took advantage of what I thought was wrong with the car and fixed that stuff. One thing I don’t understand is, wouldn’t he wonder «why is this guy sinking nine hundred dollars into something that isn’t going to fix his car»? If he cared he would have thought that. But he didn’t care because he wanted my money. Then I find out that the problem was the drive shaft, and they don’t do drive line work. He nicely referred me to another shop for that.

This place is awesome! I’m a grad student driving a 95′ camry with over 225,000 miles on it. Every two years I need this puppy smogged and this place not only fixes the problem but they have it smogged for me too. My uncle is the engine guy for nascar so I always run the price and problem past him first to ensure I am not getting ripped off. Very easy to communicate with and I highly recommend them! Great job guys!
