I’ve been working in media and marketing for around a decade but Ive had a video camera in my hand since I was a kid. Even before I knew it, video marketing was a big part of who I was making videos for class instead of essays, using video to meet girls online (cheesy, I know), and using video to get more clients.

When the economy went south, I ditched my job at the radio station and went full time into video marketing by enrolling in school and learning how to make videos for reel (joke– get it?) After my first semester I started making videos for business and never turned back!

Video marketing put me through college and we hope to use video for your company so you can put your kids through college.

Fun to work with! Owen came down to help us shoot a video of a 6 part marketing presentation. It was important for us to capture that content so we can re-​use if in our membership forums.

I have nothing but good things to say about Owen at Videospot. I went in the studio to have an intro video done for my website. Owen helped me through the process so I wasn’t to nervous.
I received my edited video within a week and I think it came out great and very affordable compared to other studios. I would highly recommend Owen if you want a strong video marketing campaign.

Owen helped me get my old website off the map and put me on the radar with a new website, 3 new videos, and landing page, and email tracking system, and he did it without really needing too much involvement from me.
When we started the project, I had a basic idea of what I wanted and by the time he helped me put that vision together. We reviewed the work then he helped me tighten up some things, we made some adjustments, and when we launched I immediately began to see the leads come in from new and from existing clients.
I would recommend using Owen for video and website design and Im glad that we had the chance to work together.

Buyer Beware:
I was introduced to Owen by a mutual friend, and payed him $ 3000 for a series of videos and facebook pages. I trusted him because he was a Christian, and I assumed he would be honest and professional. I quickly discovered this was not the case.
I learned early in the process that he grossly over-​promises his talents and abilities, and produces poor quality work; and I’m happy to show anyone examples if they would like. If you confront him about it, he will dizzy you with high-​sounding explanations. If you do your homework, you discover most of what he says is untrue.
The WORST part was when I went into my Youtube account and discovered he had posted positive comments to HIS OWN videos in MY NAME! When I confronted him about it, he did not return my phone calls for weeks, and then sent me an email telling me it was part of his SEO optimization!
*Note: I trusted him with all my social media log-​ins and passwords, and explicitly told him I did not want any cross-​promotion with Videospot in any way.
He will overwhelm you with many promises and a lot of talk about his extensive knowledge about the marketing industry. He targets small-​business owners who are not familiar with a lot of online marketing. I wish I had considered Proverbs 10:19 before losing 3 months of my time and $ 3000.

Owen and his team at Video Spot recorded a 6 part series of Social Media classes I was teaching. I was very impressed with the quality of the video and the timeliness in which they were available to the attendees after the fact. They set up quickly and are very prepared on the job. I would recommend them for any local business who needs to get live video captured from a speaking event.

Owen seems to know his stuff but when I put my customers in front of him they left with a bad experience. Needless to say I wont be using video spot again. I lost two customers using Owen can anyone recommend a pleasant videographer that knows their trade?
