Sunglass Corner

Love this place! The owner and his sister took great care of me and my girlfriend today with our purchases. He also apparently does a lot for the local skate community as they were holding an event with pro skaters signing autographs for the kids. Great place, great selection and super friendly! Definitely going back!

This place was awesome! Walked in just to look around but I ended buyin’ a pair of one of their under $ 10 pairs of glasses. Most places that carry only Sunglasses are usually kind of stuffy and the attendants don’t really ever care enough to engage you in conversation. However, the girl who was working the register immediately greeted me upon entry and began a friendly conversation about the weather and how my day was going, etc, etc.
This doesn’t seem like much to some people but whenever an employee cares enough to engage a customer instead of just «doing their job», that’s what makes being a customer an experience instead of a chore.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and personable! Would definitely come back for all my future sunglasses needs. I was shown all the current styles and found what I was looking for. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for reasonably priced and quality frames!

What an awesome selection of great glades. Also they are super close to the shore. Kelly was amazing. She was so helpful with finding the best pair of glasses and the best deal. I will totally be back.

Employees very knowledgeable and professional. Did not try to talk me into buying something that was out of my price range or not my style. Simply showed me what the options were and what each brand had to offer in terms of quality vs. price.
Store had everything that you could imagine at reasonable prices for a storefront shop.

I walked into the store not knowing what glasses I wanted and the young lady working showed me multiple styles and multiple brands and recommended a pair of glasses that I love. They are very personable and very willing to take the time to help you out to get the right glasses you need. I highly recommend them!

One thing to note: the customer service is worth mentioning here. Very amiable folks who cater to your needs whether it be for sizing or to try out the entire shop.
Fair warning: It is a privately owned place, so they do dictate more than the company owned places. Namely sales and prices.
I would not walk in trying to save money. Name brands are costly endeavors for a reason.

I really needed sunglasses this morning and waited outside for the store to open at 10:00 a.m. Then I waited some more. Then some more. No such luck on June 23^rd, a nice sunny day. I then walked across the street to Louie’s Gifts and purchased a nice pair. Lesson learned; hopefully for both!

This place is awesome… I went in today looking to fix my raybans and walked out with a new pair that i absolutely love… The staff took their time to make sure i had the glasses that fit my look. They even took the time to show me the difference beetween the glasses I looked at. Will definitely be back… Real laid back and welcoming.

Was in Oceanside for the 70.3 Ironman in March 2015 and damaged my sunglasses in transit. Stopped into the Sunglass Corner since it was both close to my hotel and event locations to either get my existing sunglasses fixed or pick up a new pair. Young gal working this day was unable to assist with repairs but provided details for another local vendor and set me up with a sale of a pair of Smith sunglasses.
After the sale, I found out that Smith was a vendor at the 70.3 expo and was able to sell me the exact sunglasses at a 20% discount. Why not save a few bucks, right? I decided to buy directly from the Smith vendor and return my earlier purchases sunglasses back at Sunglass Corner but the same young gal advised that there was a scratch on one of the lenses and wouldn’t accept the return! I just purchased the glasses earlier that day and they were on my face since the purchase. The only way there was a scratch (which I couldn’t even see myself) was if it was there prior to my purchase. I also offered to return the newer sunglasses but that wasn’t an acceptible option according to Sunglass Corner. Sunglass Corner would only accept a return of the exact sunglasses provided directly from their sale rep?
The manager was called in (he was working at a surf/​beach apparel shop across the street). The manager was mostly chill and although attempting to backup his employee seemed like he was going to do the right thing and accept the return. In the mean time a 3^rd employee arrived and decided that the return would be accepted but not for the full value of the sale. Sunglass Corner only stocks and accepts returns for product in «pristine» condition. I started to get upset and definitely felt like Sunglass Corner clearly only cares about getting and keeping a sale. The mom and pop shops are supposed to be where customer service is above and beyond the corporate guys, not the case here!
Ultimately, the manager did the right thing and refunded the full value of my sale and even through in the value of a sunglass case I had also purchased earlier that day. They took the newer «pristine» sunglasses not even out of the box yet. I left with only 20 or so minutes of my time being wasted.
Suggest looking for sunglasses at another shop.

THis place has awesome selection of sunglasses. Might b a lil spendy being its on the main strip next to beach where they thrive off of tourist but workers are super friendly and have all the latest greatest sun glasses.
