Reflectshine Auto Wash

I went to Reflectshine Auto Wash in Oceanside, California on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. Upon pulling my car up to the covered vacuuming area, a Hispanic worker wearing a radio headset, came up to me asking what I would like to have done. I elected the $ 18.99 car plan which included additional service such as polish and tire care. I mentioned that the chrome wheels on my Jaguar would require a little more attention when using the water pressure wand. He then proceeds to try selling me another $ 40.00 wheel care plan. I told him my wheels weren’t that dirty to pay that and if the worker focused a little more with the wand, it should be fine. I then sat down and watched them quickly and roughly vacuum the floor and seats with the same worn plastic nozzle. I went over and asked them to be more careful on the leather seats to avoid scratching them. Then it was brought to the front of the car wash entrance for preparation. The worker I had asked to let the preparation worker know about my wheels was never told. The guy sprayed the entire car quickly without any focus on the wheels, took a wood-​handled brush and quickly and not thoroughly went over the car. He even started the conveyor belt to pull the car through prematurely. He unsuccessfully rushed trying to do he other side as it was dragged away. While in the inside waiting room, I approached a middle-​age female cashier and asked to speak to the manager about this. She told me it was her son and would let him know. I then spoke to him. He is dark haired, Persian or Hispanic, and in his 40’s. He was VERY rude, condescending and hard to understand due to his heavy accent. He wasn’t open to any of my concerns. HE WAS A MAJOR JERK!!! As I continued to wait, I had a «gut» feeling that this establishment probably has had many complaints in the past. So, I looked them up on Unilocal and Google. On Unilocal,there were 85 reviews and a total of 1.5 (out of 5) Star Rating. Upon reading the complaints, the majority of them were VERY negative. I then went over to the cashier and told her what I just learned. She admitted that they were aware of all the negative Unilocal reviews. About that time, I was told my car was ready. Upon inspecting it, I found that there were many dirt spots remaining on the vehicle, carpet wasn’t cleaned well, and my electric front seat had been pulled as far forward as possible and wasn’t working anymore. I expressed my dissatisfaction, didn’t tip the worker and left for home in «cramped» quarters. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TRULY PROVIDES POOR WORKMANSHIP! Not worth the money spent! I will never go there again and do not recommend this place at all!!!

Just left this place at 2 o’clock on Wednesday they had about four cars getting cleaned asked for the $ 120 full detail special and he tried to charge me 150. I mention the advertise price and he’s told me that my car was too dirty and that he is not interested in taking my business this was the owner by the way save yourself the trouble!

This place the worst place to get your car done. Half Assed all away around. Don’t go here. I called and the manager and he was rude and hung up on me. Please DO NOT go here!!!

It’s a car wash! What do people expect? That your cars are clean and washed? That’s me, I want my car washed and clean and that’s what I got. I didn’t give it a full five stars because, ok, they could clean their lounge area. People come and go quick, you’re not dining in.

This is the worst car wash ever, Poor work, rude management and bad attitude. If you value your consumer vote $ do not use this business!!! The are also over priced!

RUDEST PEOPLE WHO COULD CARELESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS
Let me first say that between my mom and I we have been customers for about 20 years. I will never go there again! I have given them 3 times in a row to get it right and they didn’t and what’s worse they don’t care.
I had a very sloppy car wash a few months ago and the manager practically yelled at me that I had to get the $ 50 VIP service if I wanted all the dirt off! Not sure what was included for my $ 23 wash but apparently not much.
I went back and complained to the managers/​owners in the office who had the same attitude. No apology. No effort to make it right. (I got a better wash at the $ 7 drive through)
I went in Sunday and tried to purchase a regular car wash and was badgered and harrassed to buy the $ 50 VIP service. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. I finally said I was leaving and he just laughed. Well I hope they all laugh all the way to the unemployment office soon.
This place can’t go out of business fast enough for me.

Stay away! They try to entice you with coupons but then upsell and STILL do a poor job.

Awful! Car was still dirty after they were done. Didn’t wipe down the dash well. Had to redo the windshield when I pointed out a huge bird poop still smack dab in the middle. Waste of time and money.

I don’t know why I keep coming here other than it’s a convenient location. The office staff is rude and I’m almost always underwhelmed at the results from one of their car washes.

STAY AWAY! Unprofessional management and workers. My car was left parked while three other cars went ahead. When I told the owner, he shrugged his shoulders and said the help was doing their best and turned around and walked away. We exchanged a few words and then he said to take my car off his property. When I went to get my car he had my keys and threw them at me and proceeded to threaten me by asking me to meet him in the Walmart parking lot. WOW! I’ve never liked their service and this is the last time. I took my car to the car wash on Jefferson and Vista and told them what happened. They welcomed me with open arms and assured me they would take care of my car. They did a great job!

One word… SLOW! I’m talking God-​awful SLOW! Don’t be in any kind of hurry if you come here. Don’t expect much either! One of the worst car washes ever and they seem to not care. I get having a bad day but by looking at the other reviews this seems to be the norm.

After the wash it was apparent the inside of my car had not been vacuumed. When i complained to the manager he was rude and failed to acknowledge an obvious problem or correct it by vacuuming the car.
I will not return

What a pack of disorganized dummies.
This is the second times I’ve tried this place and I won’t make the mistake again. Both times we arrived 10 minutes before the place opened to make sure we would be ‘in and out’. Both times we waited 50 minutes only to find our car unattended and had to ‘remind staff to work’. All told 1 hour 30 minutes for shabby work.
I’m all set and won’t be back.

I have currently waited OVER an hour for my car to be ready… NO sense of urgency. This is the second time I’ve come here to get a simple wash & every time some drama has gone down… Apparently they were able to lock a woman’s keys in the car, & there has been a HUGE block/​buildup of cars waiting to go through the washer… They ALWAYS seen understaffed, & are a pricy for a car wash. I thought it would be convenient to just stop by, but they’ve waisted my day. I will remind myself NEVER to come here, again…

Save your money and go to a different car wash. The one by the shopping centre on Oceanside is far better than this place. Went here and got a 80 $ detail. Absolutely not worth even 20 $. There was still places that weren’t cleaned that washes I paid 15 $ would clean. Given I was here about 20 minutes before closing, it seems they got the job done and left early instead of really cleaning it well. No tip was given. They only got 2 stars because one gentleman stayed with me and looked inside and noticed the multiple smudges left and cleaned some, everyone else already high tailed their way out minutes ago. Have an inspection on my car tomorrow and now I need to finish cleaning it myself, since their standards are so low.

I wasn’t told I was being charged an additional fee to have my Tahoe washed. The gal at the counter was nice. The owner/​manager was rude. When I asked why I wasn’t told about the 5 $ surcharge, he told me he can refuse service to anyone and I should not come back!
I will not return and recommend you don’t either. There are too many nice business owners out there to put up with that attitude! BEWARE — don’t support this business!!!

This will be my shortest review. 1 and a half hour wait for a basic car wash. There was 1 car ahead of me in line, but be warned there a a large back area where you can’t see cars.
Wet your car elsewhere.

Horrible customer service!!! I called to let management know that they had not cleaned my car properly and that this wasn’t the first time it happened. He kept interrupting me and told me if it was my fault for not checking (the passenger side) and if I didn’t like it to try another establishment. I told him I’d been going there for over a year but he didn’t seem to care. Why stay in business when it’s clear you do not want to be in business. I am all for supporting local businesses but not when the owner/​management obviously does not care about keeping his clients.

I wish I could give 0 stars. These guys are the closest to my house and I tried my hardest to stay away because of the previous reviews. I was in a hurry to get a cash wash and decided to give them a shot. I showed up, the gentlemen working the check in took 5 minutes to acknowledge me, once he did he instantly proceeded to tell me that the basic wash was $ 35 because I had oversized tires. I’ve had the vehicle for 4 years and never heard that bs from any other car wash. I told him that was unreasonable and he walked away. Didn’t even let me finish my sentence… because he was rude he lost my business and I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know not to go there!

I came here with the $ 9.99 coupon. The inside of my car was not cleaned. No vacuuming was done and they did not do cupholders; I didn’t check anything else, I’m just assuming they didn’t do anything. ! HOWEVER !, for $ 10 my car was washed AND HAND DRIED! For me that was worth it, the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because they said they would vacuum and they clearly did not.
Friendly staff and they allowed my dog in the waiting area, so she got to stay nice and cool. They also came over and gave her some attention which I thought was really cool for them to do.
