Terrible management, treating a young pregnant girl like a slave! The guy Joe should be fired!

It’s great to take kids to for a quick slice but is also decent for a casual dinner. They have a decent kitchen — not out of this world but solid and consistent. They never amaze or disappoint. We are frequent customers of this place.

The food is consistently good. The brick oven pizza uses fresh mozzarella. I like the pasta dishes best. I love the lasagna! It’s a typical pizza restaurant with no real ambience but the food def makes up for it.

Here right now. I got a gift card to here and never been to this place before. I asked the guy how much was on the card and for a menu. He said when your ready to order talk to him. My boyfriend and I then placed put order, payed and went to sit down. We were told because we ordered already we couldn’t sit down we had to leave with our order. Wtf? I payed $ 27 to eat here now I have to go home to eat my food. Clearly it was our first time here and they were extremely rude and i am definitely never coming back. The quality of the food is average and averagely priced. I do not recommend.
I’m editing this to give this place one star because of the attitude I was just giving as I wrote this review. Wow this is how they treat new costumes

I looooove all their slices. My go to when I have a pizza craving whether it be regular cheese, grandma, BBQ chicken, and my niece is obsessed with their salad slice.

Delish pizza. Especially the brick oven special ones. Eating in the dining room is enjoyable, kid friendly and casual. Take out seems made with care. The only thing I don’t love (but I like) is the broccoli rabe. For that, I love villa formia.

Pizziola Review: I came here by way of Unilocal reviews and were they right. Had the pizza both regular and Sicilian .It was really good. Real NY pizza not usually found on LI. The thin crisp light dough that cracks when you fold it, Now the he pizza I grew up eating in Brooklyn. Great wait staff too

The food here is good and the staff is very nice. But I always have to ask the question, Do we need to pay more for these services just because we live on Long Island?
Sunday 1−17−16 we ordered food for the football game. 1 specialty pie, 4 additional plain slices and 2 orders of wings for 64.90. Of course the tax was 5.15 because we live in NY.
I think this Establishment is too pricey and should have offered a discounted rate on wings when you buy more. I would have bought more but was not worth the money.

Just came here for the first time last week and I will definitely be going back. We got the eggplant parm & chicken francese — both were delicious. The restaurant was very busy and our waitress (Caitlin, I believe) was VERY nice and helpful. Loved the italian music!

I’m so sick of paying for extra cheese and not getting it. Its happened 3 times already. Next time i’m going to bring it back and shove it in their face. Go to Lia’s pizza or D’Cocco’s pizza.

I like Pizzaiola. The pies are delicious and huge. The dinners are good, not great and a bit on the pricy side. I’ve tried the chicken Parmesan, the fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti n meatballs and lasagna. All are good. The only problem I have with this place is that the staff is not the friendless bunch. Granted that they’re always very busy but a hello or even a smile goes a long way. I’ve owned grocery stores so know about working with the general public. It’s not easy but nevertheless you should be hospitable. Not the Pizzaiola staff.

I refuse to go there, eat there or take out from there. I found the food over rated and over priced. I went there only to accomodate friends and family. The straw which broke the camel’s back was being charged for blue cheese dressing for the buffalo chicken pizza. Now friends and family won’t go there either.

Food was very good and the place was pack, we did wait about 15 minutes to be seated, or else I would of given 5 stars. The prices was inexpensive for what you get, large portions, 3 people cost under a $ 100 bucks, and we had the whole table filled with food.

The two stars are for the food… baked clams, shrimp oreganata and a few other dishes are very good BUT when I ordered these the other day, along with a $ 2.25 soda the $ 34.00 total didn’t bother me… when I asked for just a mouthful more of soda (not a refill) I was told that I’d be charged another $ 2.25 — so — they were the last dishes I ordered there and will not support a greedy/​cheap owner… are you effing kidding me???

I have not eaten their food just their pizza and it is one of the top 5 on Long Island in my book. Their regular slice is the perfect combination of cheese and sauce, and the crust is so crispy. There is nothing better than biting into a slice and hearing that crunch from the start. So good!

Still haven’t eaten there food. Basically I Call to place an order. One order of pasta with bolognese, they offer bolognese with rigatoni. Simple request that every Italian eatery from my hometown of OZONE PARK QUEENS to vacations in BOSTON I have never been told I can’t change the choice of pasta. I have from some been told it’s an additional charge of a dollar or two, never had been told NO, Until now.
Second issue again ordered take out Italian a million times from a million places, this next request is a little odd however not bad or hard to do. I want an order of fried zucchini, please after they come out of the fryer put them in a doubled paper bag, otherwise by the time the get to my house they are a mushy soggy mess of what once was beautiful crispy breaded zucchini. That complete my order, I was called back a minute later. I was told they can’t put the zucchini in a paper bag. I asked why not, a simple explanation I felt was nessesary. I was told the manager said they don’t do that. So logically I asked to speak to the manager, the girl on the phone said sure hold on. I waited, just for the girl to come back on and tell me the manager was busy, to busy now to speak to a paying customer. So I simply told them, to cancel the order thanks. The girl seemed shocked, cancel the whole order? Yes cancel the whole order thank. So that was my first and last experience with them.

Great pizza! Always tasty and fresh. Even the rice balls are yummy

Love pizzaiola! They have the best chicken ceasar salad ever in life and my favorite buffalo chicken slice. Everything is amazing! All pasta dishes are also fabulous pene mediera is my favorite.

Came here with my girlfriend and our daughters on a girls night pizza outing. We all split a margarita pizza. It was awful. It was like a big round matzoh with artificial tasting sauce and barely any fresh mozzarella. I was starving so I force fed myself, but my daughter wouldn’t touch it and I couldn’t even blame her. Very disappointing.

Came here on a Sunday. After having to flag down the hostess, it took approximately 20 minutes for me to get a salad and 4 slices. One of the slices had a hair and they were nice enough to replace it but still charged for the slice??? Im not the type to try and get over but good customer service should have given me th slice on the house. Either way, pizza was ok. Nothing out of this world.

Food is ok… Over priced… And the employees behind the counter are very cocky… Your not the only pizza place around fellas

The restaurant section service is a bit slow but the food is very good. Love the penne a la vozca!

Delivery is very slow and some times it takes a couple of tries to get someone on the phone to take your order because they are always busy.

Mediocre pizza and an even worse attitude. Simple order, of the following: 1 regular slice, 1 sicillian slice and something else that I can’t recall but I believe they were potato croquettes that weren’t too bad.
Anyways I asked for my sicilian slice to be heated up, i was then told that It’s hot enough and was handed the slice on the tray with no say in the matter… Paid my tab, sat down and bit into a soggy luke warm slice with no flavor… Return to the counter ask for the slice to be heated up, get and attitude, heats it up for no more than 20 – 30 seconds hands it back to me again soggy and gross.
End result threw everything in the trash except for my diet coke and left unsatisfied, hungry and annoyed.

This pizza is delicious! It’s baked and heated up to the perfect temperature. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Long Island

I enjoy the food but i do not like the owner raising the prices too frequently and they charge 1.50 delivery charge which he doesn’t give to the delivery person. Why??? I hate greedy owners. So i have to give an extra 5 dollars instead of 3 for the driver. Add that 1.50 by the amount of deliveries he is doing a week
And its really just a way of robbing the customers !!! The high turn over rate in employees say enough of the unfair wages for the workers and delivery personell. Sorry but greed forces me to order from other places sometimes when i dont want to but the greed of taking and not sharing with his drivers irritates me!!!

You’re typical NY sit down pizzeria with Italian food. It’s clean, fast service. Our waitress was friendly but didn’t make herself readily available. Didn’t check on us throughout the entire meal, and we had to flag her down for water refills. She was nice, just not available.
I can’t leave an extensive review on the food, since my friend and I only split one pasta: corkscrew pasta with a pesto cream sauce and grilled chicken– not too creamy or oily, quite tasty and would order again
I took a star off for the waitress and her lack of availability, and the other star because I can’t rate the place on food completely from one dish. If I return, I’d try something else and update my review

The thin crust pizza’s are the best thing they have. I recommend asking for the Buffalo Pizza as a thin crust.
However, they advertise them «Made in an authentic brick oven» and if you watch them, they just use their regular run-​of-​the-​mill pizza oven so that’s a bit disappointing.
Sorrento’s still has them beat.
