They moved… after looking for it for 30 minutes… –_-… would have been nice to know that before asking a person on the street haha

I’m not a fan of indoor swap meets but for some reason I love this one. It’s nothing much right now because they went under construction and it’s a HUGE mess but before all that, they had great business there. I normally come to this place maybe twice a year and every time I leave, I leave with $ 50+ less in my wallet because I always find pretty good deals.

I accompanied my coworker here to look for a piñata for her grandson’s bday. She was looking for an Ironman piñata. We walked in and it is literally was an indoor swap-meet. The last time I had even went to a swap-meet it was over 25 years ago. There were a lot of vendors here, and for me, it was just too much to consume. We did find a piñata and requested assistance. I had asked the lady behind the counter for help. She didn’t know English. GREAT… Then she pointed to someone down the aisle, so we asked her for help. She took down the piñata, and even though the quality was not great, my coworker was desperate to get one in the little time she had.

They have every sort of thing with your favorite team’s logo. Sweaters and shirts that are pretty cheap and lots and lots of soccer jerseys(hope you like America and Chivas) It really is a one stop shop if it works for you. The food spot in the back is pretty good too. They obviously cater to certain demographics with many things that will probably not fit your needs. But it’s a worth a stroll around every once and a while. They do have a t-shirt pressing shop in the back that does it for cheap. Just wanted to add that.

I’m not absolutely sure why Tommie-Sis O. was expecting good customer service at a swap meet — regardless of race. I mean, it’s a swap meet! You can tell Mission Bazaar has seen better days. They try to hide the empty stalls with giant sheets. Still, the remaining vendors work hard to hold their own. If you are willing to spend some time looking, there are some great deals to be had here. The dollar store in the back has a great selection and is very clean and well-organized. And they have the first rolling baskets I’ve ever seen in my life!

I knew what the store was going to be like~ many different areas separated by temporary walls to make them separate businesses. It’s almost overwhelming and somewhat of a treat for the eye seeing all the colorful items on display. I was surprised that nobody seemed to care that I was in the place. Nobody greeted me, nobody offered to assist me, nobody really looked at me. I would have to say that if you are not Asian or Mexican, don’t waste your time. It was obvious that they do not want business from the average caucasian person! Avoid, avoid, avoid!
