Description

Specialties

I specialize in payroll, bookkeeping, and taxes. I file returns for income tax, sales tax, and payroll taxes. Mine is a boutique business. I work for a limited number of clients and personalize my service to meet the needs of those few special accounts. My clients have been with me for years. Right now I have availability for up to six new small businesses. Mine is an outside service. I don’t normally work in your office but can on occasion.

My monthly bundle price includes two payrolls, a Statement of Profit & Loss, and sales tax filing for $ 200. Sometimes my bundle costs less, like if you don’t have sales tax. And sometimes it costs more, like if you are keeping three bank accounts or require my bill paying service. My basic bundle also includes your annual Worker’s Comp audit, wage garnishments, and all payroll returns through W2’s and annual 940 FUTA return.

I can track your expenses to generate annual 1099’s at no additional cost. But I charge for the actual generating of the 1099’s.

You can choose to use my bundle or use my services individually. So if you don’t have a payroll, but need a P & L, no problem.

I am also experienced with certain types of forensic accounting and Gas Station sales tax.

I know this sounds like a lot of technical information. If you are just looking for a competent, personalized bookkeeping service at a great price, I would love to speak with you.

History

Established in 2004.

I started out working for CPA’s. They would meet with the client and then hand me the work. My first independent client was a small retail shop in downtown Carlsbad. This store is still with me today. My second client was a Janitorial service. She’s still with me too.

I quit working for CPA’s in 2007. Since then, I have done payroll and accounting for grocery stores, construction companies, gas stations, restaurants, and others.

I went to Tax School in 2007. I have built my tax practice by word of mouth. I love my tax clients. I see them once a year and it’s a delight to meet their new babies, see them buy homes, and watch their careers advance.

I am not interested in pumping out as many tax returns as I can. I have worked for companies like that and was not happy. I take my time and ask a thousand questions. I want to prepare the best return I can which means, within the boundaries of the law, I want to get back the most money possible… or reduce the amount owed.
