Was being lazy so I decided to order take out, never had been here before or even seen a menu. But I enjoy trying new things, we walked in a smaller dining room but very cozy and the tables are not I top of each other. The staff was very nice and gave us a couple tips. I ordered the pollo panini with Tuscan fries and minestrone soup. The panini was great and had a nice crunch to it cooled to perfection. The fries needed salt and they would of been on point. The soup I was not a fan of at all I just left that to the side and tossed it out lol so don’t order the soup unless you’re trying to taste the bottom of ur shoe.

I’ve driven by a million times — but only recently went in. i had a fantastic salad, i think its called the parma salad. the others in my party loved their salads, too. chicken soup with vegetables was hot and tasty. frequent hot refills of delicious coffee — yes! good service. I’m sold, and will definitely be returning.

I have been here numerous times over the last few years and they continue to impress me every time. The staff is friendly and the food is on point. My favorite sandwich is tied between the Alejandro and the Moderna. The wait usually isn’t very long either which is really nice. Definitely suggest checking this place out!!!

My family and I have been coming here for the past few years for the occasional dinner out. The things I love: –Portabella panini –Potenza panini –cream of broccoli soup(AMAZING) –butternut squash soup(AMAZING) –bread basket with olive oil I had a small get together here of me and 6 friends but for a small place like this they were very accomodating. We let them know we were coming beforehand as to not be rejected a setup of two tables pushed together. We only had to wait a few minutes at the door while the table was getting set up. We were able to fit comfortably and they even let us bring in a cake from an outside bakery to celebrate one of our birthdays. I know some restaurants don’t allow outside desserts to be brought in, but they did. I would highly recommend this small location as one of the best in Oceanside!

The food was delicious! We had gotten fried ravioli and mozzarella sticks for appetizers, they were so good! The marinara sauce was very good too. The paninis were amazing! Love me some prosciutto!

The Oceanside location is great! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Im a big fan of the«Susan Salad» but their panini’s and soups are also stellar. My family and I love to order for pick-up. Dining-in is nice but the people the restaurant attracts are not exactly child friendly(you will get looks the entire time).

Decided to try this place on a whim and the fact that it’s located 2 minutes from the house. Got the butternut squash soup, which was sweet and buttery, the Agrigento panini which was tasty, but the star was their pear salad! Absolutely delicious. Huge portions of everything! I have lunch for the day after and then some. I definitely want to try other items on the menu if they all taste like this. Might just become my go to salad joint close to home.

We order take out over and over again from this location and every time wonder why we keep trying?! Girl that answers the phone is always rude and rushed. Orders are ALWAYS wrong. Their salads and panini’s are weak. Hardly anything other than lettuce in their salads and their panini’s have one piece of chicken or pork shared between both halves. We totally enjoy the La Bottega’s in Garden City South, RVC, LB, Bayside, Howard Beach, even the one in Roosevelt Field is good, but not this one. This one in our hometown is a disaster!

Very small spot, but perfect for take-out or delivery. The paninis are incredible(especially the one with porchetta, broccoli rabe & provolone); as are the salads. I haven’t tried any of their entrees or soups, so I can’t speak to those; but the quality of food served in what I have had as always been phenomenal.

«great food at an affordable price.» My girlfriend and I first discovered La Bottega a few years ago. We found it on Long Beach Road in Oceanside tucked in between a small strip of stores. It’s a small, quaint restaurant with less than 10 tables. We found the wait staff to be kind and attentive. The food was excellent — fresh, tasty, healthy(if you chose to) expertly prepared — all at an affordable price. I later found out that La Bottega is a franchise. We visited the Long Beach restaurant as well and got similar results. My girlfriend gets the grilled chicken salad and I always order the Hogans Panini. We really should try other items on the menu, but we love these dishes too much to go with anything else. I highly recommend La Bottega — the ambiance, service, food and reasonable pricing are all great.

The review is for catering. While the food was good, the service lacked. The delivery team forgot to bring the heating elements for the hot food and serving spoons. Not good when you have 40 hungry people for a party. Next time, I will try the RVC store

Tiny hole in the wall, not clean. Food quality is poor at best. Please dont consider this place as an Italian restaurant. The average pizza store is far better than this place… It earns my highest AVOID rating.

Do you like paninis? Do you like salads? Do you like Italian food? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have to go to any of the La Bottegas on Long Island. My first love was the Savona with spicy sauce. The Susan salad is another great one. There’s nothing else that needs to be said. Everything is delicious, nothing is mediocre. Take a shot and you’ll see what I mean. You’ve been served.

I love the La Bottega franchise, but I will admit that some are better than others. The one in Oceanside has friendly staff, great food, and their prices are not as high as, say, the one in Long Beach. They have fantastic salads and sandwiches, and homemade soups all year round. The space is small but I like to go there for lunch with my best friend, it’s intimate and the food is just too good to pass up.
