History
Established in 1996.
KRC was started by Kevin Rich and Charlie. This partnership began while we were all doing our own jobs on a part time basis in the early 1990’s. As each of our reputations grew we were always asking each other for help on different projects. Why not ask a trusted friend with a great work ethic to give you hand doing a kitchen or bath or even some handyman work. It became obvious that it was time to put or skills together.
We had been discussing this venture for a while before we decided to go for it. We had a meeting set up some rules, made some financial decisions and did what any new company would do… took a two week vacation. It was a cold January and the schedule was slow. That was the last time we had two weeks off.
We are all grateful to have that much work and to still have each other to rely on.

Business Owner
I am one of the owners of this Home Improvement/Renovation business. I began working in the construction business in 1981. I began with a decking company for a few years and moved on to framing houses and condo units until about 1990 when I began working for myself and helping my father do some new home construction. I met my partners a few years after that and KRC Home Improvement was born. Most of the knowledge i had gained over the years was in new construction, extensions, dormers, and some decks, while my partners had been doing kitchens, baths basements windows and doors.
