Established in 2015.

Dynamite Electric Bikes is a full service rental, sales, tours and service dealership to multiple brands of Electric Bikes. Between our two offices we feature Prodeco Tech, High Power Cycles, and exclusively Pedego at our Solana Beach store. Our sales showrooms are open seven day per week from 10 am to around 6:00 pm. Our sales reps are not paid on commission, our goal is to fit the bike to our customers’ needs and desires. There are many different motor combinations and different systems on each of our bikes. Come in and we will start with a few minutes of education time to explain each of the motor systems featured on our bikes while you enjoy our air conditioned showroom and an ice cold beverage.

I have been in the electric bike business for about 4 years. I owned a Pedego dealership on Catalina Island before starting Dynamite Electric Bikes in Oceanside. Our Oceanside store offers Prodeco Tech and Hi Power Cycles for sale and rent. I have since sold the Catalina operation. For the past 25 years I have been in the tourist industry on Catalina Island. I graduated from Woodbury University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Dynamite bikes were a blast. My fiancé and I went on a cruise along the beach and had a nice picnic afterwards. These bikes are FAST and easy to ride. They teach you how to balance and maneuver on a mini course right on the site. It was a nice date! Thanks Danny and Bhumi for helping us out with the rental, service, and teaching us about all the tech!

Had an awesome time riding the electric bikes. Bhumi, Danny and David took us out for a ride along the coast. Loved that we could ride on the roads just like it was a car. Bhumi planned a ride for my wife and I and I was amazed by how fast an electric bike can go. Danny had said on a full charge you can ride for 35 to 40 miles and if you peddle you can go much further.
If anyone that lives near the coast this is the best way to travel. Dynamite Electric Bikes is a great place to rent or buy the bike. I very much enjoyed my time with Bhumi, Danny and David. I can’t wait to get back to Oceanside CA to ride the electric bikes!!!

If it was possible to give more stars to this electric bike company, I would! Bhumi and Danny are the nicest people and are perfect for their jobs. Danny keeps the electric bikes in tip top condition and Bhumi was more than happy to take me and my son for a tour along the coast.
Super cool fun ride! The bikes got up to 20+ mph without peddling! I loved the fact that helmets where not mandatory! I took my teenage son for a fun Mother/​Son day and it turned out to be better than we expected. We had a blast!
If you are looking for something unique and fun to do along the coast, this is it! I will definitely be renting these electric bike again and when my budget permits, I will buy one! Just love this cool small business and the business owners!

I recently decided to treat myself with a bicycle for my birthday. I looked online and found Dynamite Electric Bikes. I had never ridden an electric bike before but upon taking one for a test drive, I fell in love. I like how I still do get the exercise with the assistance of the motor. I feel a lot more confident in getting myself in better shape with this bike. The girls that helped me out were very helpful and really knew their stuff. I ended up purchasing a new bike and can’t tell you how happy I am. I also like the fact that I am now a club member too! This place is awesome! :)
