Community Resource Center Thrift Store

These have to be inflated reviews. I am a queen thrifter who has been to 90% of the thrift stores in the county. This one is not good. Merchandise is stale and not good quality and prices are high. It’s not well organized either. Apparently they have some sale every day, but the merchandise was so crappy, I won’t come back again.

This is our favorite thrift store! We stop in a couple times a week. The prices are great the place is clean the workers are friendly!

I love this place! I went for the books and DVDs and while I didn’t find any DVDs I needed or wanted, they had a decent selection. They have a huge selection of VHS’. Wish they had more to offer on DVDs but hopefully sometime soon they’ll get more!
Book selection was good! Only found one book but as usual thrift stores are usually hit or miss. I’ll definitely be checking this place out more in the future! Hopefully they get more books as well! I love collecting books for my fandoms and also just to read for fun so I love when thrift stores have a huge selection of books.

Still I find this one of the nicest thrift stores in Oceanside. Why you ask?
Staff is genuinely kind, nice and helpful. They do not give you attitude no matter how much you’re spending on a credit card (I want my points!).
Store is kept organized, prices are clearly marked (and appropriate for a thrift store items) and there are two fitting rooms. I love Mondays when clothes are currently 35% off. I only wish they stayed open a little bit longer so I didn’t have to rush over here after work (they close at 5pm).
Always an interesting collection of odds and ends and you never know what treasure you may find. Your money also goes back to the community for this non-​profit organization.

Best thrift store I’ve ever been to! Very organized, nice staff, and everyone was sweet to my curious toddler while I was checking out the books — which were all half off! Walked out with 2 books and a practically new Doc McStuffins doll for $ 4! Very pleased, keep up the great work :)

Love this place! A weekly place to visit for my husband and I. You can easily find a hidden (or not so hidden) gem on any given day of the week. What’s so great is everyday there is a different discount! Whether it’s clothing, tag color, furniture, books or music or managers choice. You will undoubtedly find a great deal here! And I mean it is a thrift store so at times you’re expected to actually look, which is half the fun, because when you find it, and you will, it’s such a cool story/​reward!
My husband and I found a great IKEA sectional which retails at almost $ 800, for $ 75! Unfortunately for us the couch was green, and not an olive green but almost Kelly green… but we just went to Ikea, and bought a slipcover that cost more than the couch. still we came in under than retail value.
We’ve also come away with plenty of clothing, and kitchen knick knacks and books but most recently we found a Mid Century Modern vinyl console. Well, we use it to store our vinyl records but it was so long it’s also our TV console. Regardless it looks great, in amazing shape and a mere $ 40.
Again some people may think that’s expensive for a thrift store find, but this is good quality stuff, craft workmanship and quite fairly priced. Easily more expensive items had we found them on Craigslist or at some auction, antique market.
Also a great choice for donations, you can always drop off and if you’d like they’ll give you a receipt which also has a coupon for an additional percentage off your purchase!
Oh and the staff is always super nice and quick to help you find what you’re looking for, and if they can’t, they’ll take down your info in the store binder where you can ask for anything specific and they’ll call if it comes in!

If your looking for me on a Monday I’m here. I love outfitting my family here. We are on a budget but we still like our brand names. Boys like wearing the surf brands and I love a pretty top or trendy dress. My baby gets tons of clothing and I don’t have to worry if he outgrows them quickly. Yes their prices are higher but go on Monday for 35% off clothing or Tuesday for pick your discount. Every day they have a $ 1 rack. I’ve seen Seven for All Man Kind jeans on this rack! For $ 1! I used to think Nordstrom’s Rack was where it’s at but this store started me on my thrifting journey. I’m hooked.

This was the cleanest, most organized thrift store I have ever visited. The clothes are not crammed together. My kids forgot to pack their board shorts so we stopped by hoping to find some which we did find a nice pair of Hurleys and Billabongs.

I can’t believe how many amazing items I’ve found here! I was able to furnish my porch with vintage chairs from here for less than $ 30. Just today I found the perfect modern bench to finish off our guest bedroom. I am forever thankful to have found this store and the staff is so friendly. Do not pass up a chance to check them out!

This store raised my expectation of what a thrift store should be. Really excellent store.

Staff is young, nice and trendy which resulted in a really great selection of items that take weeks to find across dozens of thrift stores.
Everything is sorted nicely and displayed well to give you ideas. It’s like the IKEA of thrift stores.
They have a dedicated section just for furniture, which is what I’ve been looking to buy at about a dozen other stores. The other stores don’t even have furniture usually.
Good customer service: 5 day return with receipt and original tags for store credit. Every other thrift store I’ve ever gone to makes all sales final.
Ask to meet the manager, Ducky. Stylish guy, can really help you get ideas. Was willing to sell me 2 chairs separately that they priced as a whole table set. $ 10 bucks per chair, and $ 15 for a vintage steam trunk.

The Duckwheat is very helpful & friendly. We will definitely come back! Bought the coolest pants! Store is clean and well organized.

Well organized selection of mostly clothing. They have a weekly schedule of special sales (Mondays are 50% off clothing!). A little bit pricey for my tastes without the discount, but at least a great majority of the items seemed in good condition. Would probably be a good spot to hit with regularity to catch the treasures (I saw some a cute pair of 7 jeans, which were sadly too small for me, on the $ 1 final clearance rack).

I like this place for clothes. I got some Maternity clothes when I was pregnant and I also got dresses. Monday is 50% off so that’s when I would try to go. This thrift store has a younger feel to it which is refreshing. I also got some baby clothes here and a Christmas tree for $ 7. Fair prices and they have military discount.

This thrift store is FABULOUS! I am an experienced shopper and have to say that everything from customer service, explanation of sales (current and upcoming) and of course their merchandise is awesome! I will definitely be making a weekly trip to check out all the new items!!! Something for everyone :)

If the reviews were based on staffing alone, this newer thrift store would be 5 stars. Every one of the six or so employees I have dealt with here are top notch. Friendly, engaging, and helpful. Very personable with the customers and each other. It is a fabulous atmosphere.
The space itself is open and the organization is mostly kept aesthetic. The dressing rooms could use some, well, construction really. Two makeshift stalls with wrap around sheeting that I had to hang clothes all the way around so there were no gaps in fabric. Only measuring at four ft. by four ft. tops, you definitely get in and out as fast as you can. Quite uncomfortable. But it’s not enough to prevent me from returning.
Upon my first visit they offered 20% off of your purchases if you brought donation items. GREAT IDEA! I spread the word only to find that it was a promotion for their grand opening only. Still, I have attended a well advertised 50% off sale that ran, I believe 3 days. It was fantastic. I’m still amazed at the finds I purchased then. Suits for my cousin, Christian Dior. They were not just trying to liquidate what they couldn’t previously sell, they restocked with items that I felt were nicer than I had seen before. I’m big on shoes, shoes, shoes and that is one area I find them lacking. Great spot for high end ties. You won’t believe the Italian made, silk, and designer ties I bought here. The most expensive being $ 3.50 I think (don’t forget the 50% off).
I highly recommend this thrift store to anyone who hasn’t been. Often they have a few pieces of furniture priced very reasonably. Ive seen a few beautiful pieces for under one hundred bucks.
Ratio of roses to raspberries is greatly divided, with the roses at the plus end. However there is a raspberry. This thrift store is Community Resource Center for ENCINITAS. Their charity and help for the community is not even done in Oceanside. Obviously it was the allure of cheaper rents that brought them north, or so I assume. However, I would rather the charity benefit our own city instead of taking the money out of Oceanside. However, it won’t stop me from shopping here. Other than Kit n’ Kaboodle on Coast Highway in Oceanside, this thrift store is tops for employee personality! The people make all the difference. I always say it sure seems like you all enjoy working here. That’s a refreshing feeling to have while shopping.

I have recently turned to «thrifting» to save money. I walked in and was instantly greeted by the 2 friendly women there. I have to say that this place is pretty organized compared to other thrift stores. It’s not a huge store, but it has some neat stuff. The clothes was pretty organized, which was very convenient for me. I found some cute shirts for really cheap. They even had cute maternity clothes for very cheap. The prices were very decent, there were a couple items that I thought were overpriced, but that’s pretty typical in thrift stores. They are about to have a 50% off sale, which I am very excited about. I really like this store and will be returning soon!
