The Laundromat was originally owned by 3 gentlemen that then sold it to the current owner in 1993… it was only 3 years old at the time.

People often ask me what interested me in getting into the Laundry business. Well, I made a promise to myself that once I had children I would stay home full time to raise them; however, I was an antrepreneur at heart from a very young age. I brainstormed on what type of business I could own and operate yet be home with my tiny children… so, after much research, the Laundry business it was. I jumped in both feet when my son was 2 and my daughter was 11 months old… and, I fullfilled my dream of raising them full time. They are now 20 & 18 and both in college. I’m one happy momma and business owner! I have proudly owned College Coing Laundry since 1993 and have truly enjoyed the relationships I have made with my clientele. I pride myself highly in keeping a great staff on hand, making sure the Laundromat is as clean as possible and that the equipment is up and running. This career had brought me much joy and I love being in this business!!!

DO NOT USE THE CHANGE MACHINE! I have been here several times and it will rip you off each time you use over a $ 1 dollar bill 2 weeks ago got $ 8.50out of 10. Today was $ 13⁄15. Hope you like running across the street to the gas station to pull more money out as these machines do not return your change.

love love love this place! definitely the best one around town… i say this because ive been to many others — including more updated ones– but youll never find one with an onsite worker at all times ready to answer your questions, make change and cleaning it cooooooonstantly – even on busy days! not to mention the prices are unbeatable! oh and the extended hours come in handy for people like me, whos schedules are hectic! thx to the manager for keepin up with this place and making it so easy to stay loyal to this business

This address is not at all the right location… I plugged this into my GPS on my phone and It took me on an adventure to a suburban neighborhood In the middle of nowhere… I was so pissed… Lol

My washer was on the Fritz and I came here and found the cleanest and most efficiently run Laundromat I’ve been to ever.
The owner Christina is passionate about customer service and very friendly.

We travel extensively in a motorhome and use laudromats more often than we use our onboard appliance. Finding a clean laundromat is always a surprise, and this jewel of a facility pleased us so much during our first trip that we returned two additional times during our stay at a campground aboard Camp Pendelton. The owner, Christina, was in her facility each of the three times we were there, offering assistance and advice to patrons. We will definitely return should we revisit the Oceanside area.

My washer and dryer went out right at Christmas time so needless to say I needed to wait a few weeks to get a new set. The owner is always there which I think is awesome. This place is the cleanest laundry mat I’ve ever been to! Laundry mats can be super creepy… But not this one… I feel totally comfortable here especially because I have my two young boys with me whenever I go. Thanks for having a great place!

Just moved into the area and found this Gem! Free WiFi, the owner is really nice and hella cute! The place is clean, lots of washers and dryers to compensate for small or really large loads and everything in between. This will be my new spot from now on! Respect this place and don’t overload a washer so the motor burns out. Saw a guy in here who did that totally not cool. Plus your clothes don’t get clean they just get wet.

One of the cleaner and safer Laundromats in the Oceanside area. I usually show up first thing in the morning and the place is always clean and everything is running well. Ninety-​nine percent of the machines are always in working order. The store is surround by other decent well kept businesses and you never feel like you should be looking over your shoulder. The only downside would be getting there mid morning and finding that most of the machines have been monopolized by 2 or 3 people washing loads that could clothe an entire village.

The facility is very clean, however, there was no attendant on duty to provide change when I went in today. You also have to pay $.25 to use the bathroom. The 40lb. washers are $ 4.50 plus another .$ 25 if you want to wash in hot water. I called before I went in to wash my comforter and she said that the machines are set up to use powdered soap instead of liquid soap. They use two boxes (sold for $.75 each if you don’t have powdered soap) because there are two washes. She said you can use liquid soap but it will drain down and you won’t receive the benefit of a full two washes. It’s a very busy facility, however, I would prefer one that always has an attendant that can provide change if necessary and also doesn’t charge to use the restroom.

New to coin laundry. I have always thought these places were scummy but I went based on this great Unilocal review. Still cautious though, I went at about 9 am on a Monday morning when I knew the crazies would still b sleeping. I washed one big ass load in a shiny new machine and dried them as well for only $ 5.75. I don’t know if this is a good price or not but i accomplished my mission and felt safe while doing it. The only downside that I notice was how hot it was inside… I guess industrial sized driers will do that, and that there were not enough places to sit (so my son and I sat on the ground outside in the cool air with the nice strip mall music playing above.)
Free WiFi was advertised but I hadn’t brought my iPad.

Super expensive but it worth it! Only an hour max to get as many loads done! =) super friendly attendant works here and she makes sure your wait for your laundry is a pleasant experience =)

Clean Clean Clean… Just watch out on the lady that cleans the place. She’ll keep an eye on people who leave clothes unattended, which she’ll place in trash bags. =)

I occasionally come to College Coin when mom does not want to let me do laundry. It’s generally pretty clean, the machines work, and it’s not over-​crowded. It is a little bit smaller than some of the other ones I use, but I have never had to wait for a a washer or dryer. As TJ said, I would give it 5 stars, but lack of WiFi is enough to warrant holding back one. I have looked into other WiFi-​providing laundromats in the area, but the only other one I could find is a good 15 minutes away. The convenience is a bigger issue than the WiFi, so I’ll keep coming here.

I needed to do a lot of laundry. FAST! I normally do not like going to coin laundries, because of they are just not well kept. I had a great one at my old apartment complex, that was well kept. I didn’t notice it right when I walked in, but this place was clean! I went to the bathroom, and guess what! CLEAN! Better than a lot of restaurant restrooms. The attendant was walking around scraping gunk of the floors, periodically. I think that this is a well run establishment. The owner was there today. I don’t know if she is there everyday, but I asked her about WIFI. She said she has a secure wifi that she doesn’t offer at the moment. She told me that I was the second person to ask since Friday (3 days ago). She said she is seriously considering it. I hope she pulls through. I know I would appreciate it. Lack of WIFI held back the 5th star. The attendant seemed a bit stand-​offish and reluctant, but the owner seemed really nice and helpful. Hope this helps!
