We are a boutique floral company run by two best friends/​soul sisters. Our blooms are inspired by the sea, and the twigs and the trees! We specialize in weddings, special events, and display.

History

Established in 2013.

We’ve always felt it was our destiny to somehow pursue our passion within the nature realm. In the summer of 2013, it seems as if the stars aligned. We were put to the task of putting together our first wedding florals and fell in love with the process and challenge. We were paid with love-​filled thank yous and smiles, and our heart could not have felt fuller. Bloom Babes was born and we’ve been floralizing ever since!

We are Emily and Angie, two best friends (and quite possibly long lost sisters) who share a love for beautiful blooms and design. We both have loved flowers, plants, the sea, and twigs and trees for as long as we can remember. We both worked for successful flower shops within San Diego county and decided to pursue our passions of owning our own floral design company.

Our designs are ever-​inspired by the sea. Our souls drip with salt water and we aim to infuse the ocean’s omnipresent charm into our pieces. We strive to always push the boundaries of traditional floral design and create progressive and unique designs. The inherent beauty in each bloom is important to to us and we make sure we put these babies on center stage for their grand show!

I cannot say enough good things about Bloom Babes! They did the flowers for my wedding and from the moment I first interacted with them I knew they were the right choice! They were prompt, friendly, and helpful. They were willing to meet with me, be flexible according to my budget, and always got back to me ASAP. The flowers at my wedding far surpassed my expectations. They were literally amazing! So many people commented on them and wanted to know who did my flowers. You would be lucky to have Bloom Babes do flowers for your event! I could not recommend them enough!

I love these bloom babes! It was by chance that I found them by talking with a classmate of mine and I’m so glad that I met them! These two girls work their tails off and are sweet as ever on top of that! I first met with them in person and gave them some ideas about my vision but also needed some guidance. I knew I wanted to go with them immediately because of their style and I felt as though they were young, unique, creative and so talented! They brought my wedding to life with so many gorgeous flowers and worked with my budget completely. They made me the most perfect tiny crown and I couldn’t have asked for more. Emily and Angie, the «Bloom Babes» delivered an amazing, unique and beautiful floral décor that left me speechless! Our wedding at the Thursday Club in Point Loma had spectacular views of the ocean and coast line, these girls brought that beauty inside with fantastic arrangements on each guest table, the chairs, and cake. the beautiful bridal bouquets, and the boutonnieres. All were perfect and spectacular, true talent and creativity. Great job girls, thank you!

Bloom Babes is perfection. I have had a little flower crush on their work on Instagram, so when my clients hired them to do their wedding flowers I was stoked to say the least! Bloom Babes really brought the beauty to that wedding. The flowers totally made the design and brought color and life to the venue. I love their organic, looser aesthetic which feels like how flowers look in nature instead of something overly worked or contrived. Not only that but they are the nicest gals ever, very upbeat and positive which brings the joy to a wedding day. FOR SURE hire them. There is no way you would be sorry about it!

After seeing the Bloom Babe’s creations via their website and Facebook, I knew they were who I was looking for in regards to flowers for my wedding.
My main concern was finding a delicate flower crown for my MOH and a flower hair clip for myself. I met with them in person to discuss what I was looking for, but I knew that anything they would do would be beautiful so I left it up to them on the flower types and colors.
So it really was like Christmas morning when they arrived on my wedding day with the most gorgeous flower arrangements. They made the whole process breezy and they arrived at my ceremony site with the flowers needed and they went to the reception site to set up the tables. Everything turned out perfectly and I’ve already been contacted by someone who wants to use them for their wedding.

I had the pleasure of working with the babes (they really are BABES!) last week on an amazing shoot I had for my photography company, Molly + Co. I knew we wanted a beautiful bouquet, but we wanted to have another gorgeous accent piece, and I imagine a floral neckpiece and they made it happen. I could not have been more pleased with the final product. I gave them a vague color scheme, and just said, do you’re thing… and boy did they ever, and did not disappoint.
It’s a relief to bring on creative masterminds to projects like this where you don’t have to continually give direction but trust that they will come up with something perfect, and they did!

When it comes to the visual arts, I am lacking. So when I wanted to get my mother flowers for her birthday, I knew that I needed outside consultation from those with greater artistic acuity than I myself possess. With next to no guidance and description from me, Bloom Babes designed and delivered a magnificent bouquet to my mother.
Bloom Babes are more than just flowers. The personal, highly attentive level of service they provide is uncommon at best, and far surpassed my initial expectations of how much anyone could care about meeting their clients floral needs. The first time I ordered from Bloom Babes, I needed a custom floral arrangement in about 36 hours. Not only was Bloom Babes able to meet this deadline, they perfectly captured the spirit on the occasion.

When I saw some photos online of Angie and Emily’s arrangements I could tell that they were real artists with flowers-​I contacted them and am SO happy that I chose them as my florists. I gave them the idea of what I liked and a general theme of my event, and then I absolutely could not believe how beautiful the arrangements were when I saw them for the first time. They were better than I could have imagined. I like how their bouquets and arrangements have structure and balance to them but also appear loose and airy at the same time. They go beyond your average florist and are true artists with a keen eye for design. I will absolutely hire them again and recommend them to my friends!

Bloom Babes gave the perfect final touch to my baby shower. Their arrangements throughout the house were beautiful and delicate to say the least. Plus they made a special flower crown for me that were just gorgeous. I would hire them not just for babyshowers but for weddings or any event.
