Extra Toppings without having to ask! yes! absolutely love this little place and great family meal deal aswell for 2 large pizzas. staff was nice too. pizza doesn’t have to be pretty to taste amazing. Their pizza has a thin crust which is what i prefer and they do overload on their toppings! Chicken wings are on the bigger size. You just have to try it!

ordered two small specialty pizzas, the Tuscany and the Meatatarian. the crust is a little too thick for my liking, but other than that, the pizzas were very good. I was full after my second bite, but I couldn’t help myself, and had two more slices after!

Awful pizza, over hyped garlic knots. My husband and I have been looking for a good pizza place, and tried Big Bobs based on the high Unilocal rating. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza, small chicken BBQ pizza, and an order of garlic knots. Over 80% of the food went in the trash. The crust was thick so ended up half mush/half burnt and all cardboard. The sauce was like tomato paste straight out of a can. We had a coke while we waited for the food, and even that was a poor mix. All in all a bad experience that we won’t be repeating.

I’m a big pizza type of guy! My son had a soccer tournament a block away and we decided to risk going to this pizza place. Honestly it was well worth it. I would definitely put it on my top 3 pizza places.

I was a bit skeptical choosing Big Bob’s thinking it might be a cheap cardboard pizza joint. Wow… this place blew me away. Very tasty pizza and fresh ingredients. The wait was about 30 minutes but very worth the wait. I have lived here for 14 years and searched for a good pizza… I have found it now. The forget-me-knots were awesome too.

This is a great pizza place and I am really picky about pizza! We were in Oceanside for a soccer tournament and came here for dinner. The pizza was really good(dough was super fresh) and the staff was super nice! You have got to try the Forget me Knots with Cinnamon and Icing! I highly recommend this place!

Ordered a pizza to be delivered to my home, was greeted by a bubbly young lady named Kylie. She was amazing, laughed and delivered my pizza in a timely manner. The pizza here is expensive but man is it good! If you order pizza for delivery ask for Kylie! She’ll make you’re day!

Needed something somewhat fast as I had a nail appt in less than 30 minutes in the same shopping center. Chose this spot as I had ordered delivery a few years back when I lived nearby and knew it was good. I settled on the lunch special: 2 slices with 3 additional toppings and a soda. The pizza is made to order and took just under 10 minutes. The bottom was perfectly crispy, the toppings and soft dough super fresh and the cheese was perfectly ooey gooey. I was very pleased! Keep in mind that this is mostly a pick-up and delivery shop and doesn’t have much seating. It was perfect for a fast casual lunch but, not necessarily a spot I would bring my family for a sit down pizza night. Service was very friendly and the pizza was delish!

We’ve been here several times … but because Fallbrook/Temecula have so much to offer in the way of eateries … we have not driven«south» in a many months. Hubby had a hanker’ for pizza, and we KNOW that BBBP has the best, so we(once again) made the longer drive. As before, NOTHINGHASCHANGED … ITHASREMAINEDOUTSTANDING! And, I(think I) discovered last night that they GRATE their own PARMESAN cheese! It is NOT the«typical baggie» type that most pizza places serve! It just HASTOBEFRESH. and I need to CONFIRM next time! Pleased once again … :)

Got a couple of large pizzas to-go for an event. Friendly staff and clean interior when I came inside. Smaller amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu was on a flatscreen monitor. Pizzas were in the solid 3-star range. Chewy, almost cardboardy crust. Good sauce and toppings, but nothing was good enough to write home about. Prices were decent. Overall, I’m perplexed by the high review average.

I depend on reviews for everything but I never post them. After another great meal at Big Bob’s tonight I decided it’s time I start doing my part. This is my first post ever on Unilocal. We moved to Oceanside from Northern Calif. in June. After a long day of unpacking we asked our new neighbor if he could recommend a good pizza place, he suggested Big Bob’s. He said lots of people in the neighborhood have pizza delivered. Wow, what a good find this was! We ordered a vegetarian with sausage and it was fabulous, it’s still our favorite. Their toppings are supper fresh & the crust is amazing. Typically, lots of veggies mean soggy crust but they’ve found a way to keep it nice and crispy. Now Big Bob’s is one our favorite restaurants, we eat there often and we’ve never been disappointed. BTW, their lasagna and fried zucchini are outstanding too. I’ve never been disappointed with anything we’ve ordered. Their staff is clean cut, always very friendly & welcoming. I find this very refreshing in this day and age.

I use to come here back in the day when I worked at the VA Oceanside clinic. Two words– Tuscany pizza… Soooo good that I will ALWAYS make a stop here when I’m in north county and of course order a whole pie(not just a slice) so I have left overs for later. Yes, it’s thaaaat good!

Our second time trying this pizza. This time we got the thin crust pizza black olive and pepperoni, and the cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was the best part. I did like the thin crust better than the original that we had the first time. It’s a pretty good place to try but It didn’t dethrone any of my favorites.

First football Sunday of the season and we definitely needed pizza. We ordered the holy smoke(5 stars) and the vegetarian(4 stars) Thick crust was great, but needed to be a bit crispier All toppings were fresh and delicious and the cheese was gooey cheesy the way anybody would like it Ranch was $ 0.50 extra for each container, boooo $ 45 for two large specialty pizzas is expensive but the quality is worth it

Came here for a second time since moving back to California. This time around I brought my oldest to have lunch with me. We each ordered a slice and opted for also ordering garlic twist. The twists were fresh and definitely delicious. Not over cooked and simply perfect. I had a slice of «the works» and was really amazed how loaded my slice had with ingredients. Definitely worth the cost when I have to use a fork and knife to eat my pizza. On another note, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. In my opinion happy staff typically begins with the top treating their staff right. My family and I will definitely be repeat customers.

I’ve tried to set standards for myself for comparison when comes to eating typical, everyday fare. When it comes to pizza, I generally think of the pies over at Costco as an average one; price is fair and the taste is not too shabby, making it a nice 3-star, average point to jump off from when doing reviews. So, how does Big Bob’s compare? Well, it certainly does taste a little better than Costco. The crust is thick, making the whole it heartier and more filling, while still having the right amount of salt and cooked right so it’s not soggy, greasy, or too stiff. They piled on the cheese, making it pleasantly chewy, and a fair amount of pepperoni for flavor. We came here for the 4th of July fireworks in Oceanside and ended up wandering up and down the strand wandering at food trucks, deciding how to bide the two hours before the show started. Making our way up to this shopping center, we found the whole of it corded off and a lot of the shops having stalls out in front for hungry watchers. We grabbed a medium pepperoni, grabbed a few diet cokes, and went back to our camp. As I said, it was good. My only qualm is that we spent $ 14(not including those drinks) for 8 slices and fed 3 adults and a toddler with no leftovers and a few rumbling stomachs at the end. When the taste is only slightly better than my proclaimed average, I need something a bit more to justify that added cost if value is being sacrificed. I still would very much like to go back and try some of their other fare, give it a more rounded try. But, with just the pizza in mind, I’d have to say we were almost well satisfied.

Today my youngest and I visited my husband at work and he suggested we come here for lunch. I’m allergic to wheat so we checked the menu and saw they have salads, so I would have something to eat. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken. The salad was okay, not the best I’ve had. There was way too much cheese and not enough chicken. I think if you come here you should stick to pizza and bread sticks. My husband eats lunch here at least 1x a week and loves it. He always orders bread sticks and brings them home and my sons devour them. They love those bread sticks! The service here is top notch. The person who took our order was extremely nice and polite. The establishment, despite being very busy, was very clean. Huge plus. I think if you are in this area and are craving pizza and/or bread sticks, you should eat here. I would just avoid the salad.

I ordered Big Bob’s Best Pizza a few weeks ago since I was super hungry. I didn’t have a working car at the time so I decided to get home delivery. Pizza was pretty standard. It didn’t blow me away though. I went with the meat lover’s pizza. I’m not sure if thats the correct name of the pizza but it was the all meat version. I think I should have gotten something with some vegetables because the meat was overbearing. I want to try a different pizza and see if I get a better taste from it. Will try it again. Delivery was on point though. They delivered fairly quickly and had really prompt service.

Had the lunch special, 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Each piece is made upon ordering, so you’ll get it straight from the oven. You get any 3 toppings per slice, and they don’t skimp on the toppings! The crust was pretty good, a bit thicker than a thin crust and the bottom was nice and crispy. Got an order of fried zucchini to go, and I thought it was better than the one you can get from Carl’s Jr, as it doesn’t have that weird bitter after taste. The store itself is a bit small, total seating is for around 20 people. There is a TV on the wall, if you want somewhere to go to have a pizza and watch some sports.

Where do I begin ?! Lol ! So living in oceanside for about two months I’m always game to try a new spot here && there I’m not gonna lie we were reliant on Pizza Hut & dominoes & little Cesar’s but that’s generic and quick cheap tastes wack whatever… So I was craving pizza && had an even bigger craving for anchovies and pineapples and jalapeños I know weird right ?!? So here goes nothing … Ordered a Large Buffalo chicken pizza && Small jalapeño pineapple pizza I’m biiiiiiig on pizza and crust ! Let me just say this pizza is bomb the crust && texture and the massive amount of toppings are ammmmmaaazebaaallls ! lol Sauce is good light enough to taste it but not overpowering ! My husband thinks I’m a huge weirdo for the hefty side of anchovies but that’s what makes the baby happy currently cause I’m happy and stuffed !!! We will definitely be ordering again !! Fast and efficient delivery!
