Poor customer service. No one ever answers. My phone was stolen and I called 11 times without any live representative. I had to email them and 5 days later they said they turned my phone off. Terrible communication

Crap phones. Gave me a «coolpad» brand cell phone for the CA lifeline program and since they program it before they give you the phone I didn’t notice the physical volume control button is broken. I tried adjusting the volume in the settings and that didn’t work either. So, I don’t have a ringer for the phone. I took it right back 10 minutes later and they refused to exchange it out or do anything. Said I was stuck with the phone. I explained to them that I am hearing impaired and need to be able to adjust volume, they told me once again they couldn’t help me. I called customer service, they said it would be a week or so and they would send me whatever defective phone came back that they had repaired as a replacement. It could be any make or model«it just depends on what we have laying around here». Seriously? I live in the 951 area code yet received a phone with a 323 area code? Not really an issue, but seriously, I can’t even get a phone within an area near me? Due to this I have the worst connections, no one can hear me or I them as the signal keeps fading. I noticed this company is once again doing this program down the street from me so I asked if I could exchange the phone since it was defective, and the lady was rude and asked for documentation from Access corp office that it was defective(which of course I had none) and proceeded to tell me she wouldn’t do the exchange even if I did have proof. They initial service is ok, the phones look nice. BUT… The phones and customer service are crap. I was lied to about the service contract as well. I was told I would get 1000 talk, unlimited text, 25 mms, and a measly 200mb of data. After 1 month they cut my text down to 1000 per month without notice. I’ve only had this phone for 6 weeks, and needless to say I rarely use it. I paid nothing for it and the phone and service is worth nothing to me as I can’t hear the phone ring… which being hearing impaired is VERY important to me. The phones they are giving out are best for a 5 yr old. Not even good enough for a low income ½ deaf person middle aged person. Go elsewhere for your CA lifeline phone, these phones are all show and no go.
