Fresh Local Seasonal Cuisine. The Café on 26 won «4» Best of Delaware Sussex County 2013 Awards in 4 Categories from Coastal Style Magazine: Best Chef Jason Bostaph, Best Appetizers, Best Authentic American Cuisine, Best Coffee. 1st Place Chef at Battle at the Beach Chef’s Cook Off to Chef Jason Bostaph 2015 and Culinary Genius Award in the Northeast Region to Chef Jason 2015. All food is prepared fresh and homemade. We specialize in Gluten Free and can accommodate many food allergies since all our food is homemade. We use local purveyors for our fresh ingredients.
History
Established in 2010.
The Café on 26 first opened in May 2010 as a coffee house. The House was built in the mid 1920’s and has that warm home like relaxing atmosphere while enjoying your meal. Since that opening, Maria Fraser became the sole owner in 2011 and we now serve Lunch and Specialize in Dinner. Our dinner menu changes nightly with great Fresh Specials. Fresh Local Seasonal Cuisine is prepared Year Round. You can also have a private dinner of 2 — 6 people in our Wine Room or book a party of 8 — 14 people in our Private Chef’s Dining Room. We highly recommend Reservations.

I wear many hats at The Café so I am sure you will see me as I am always there. My staff is phenomenal as they have been at The Café from the beginning. We are a family oriented business as you will see my Sister Gabi who is a Co-Owner, my sons, nieces, nephews, parents and adopted children a.k.a.the rest of my staff.
