Paddles Up is a mobile paddle board company that rents and sells paddle boards. We offer lessons, classes, guided tours, parties, and team building activities as well. We have regular SUP Yoga classes and Paddlefit. Explore the beautiful waterways of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and be close to nature on the water. Dolphin sightings are a regular occurrence on our Ocean Springs Front Beach Paddles. We also paddle the Fort Bayou. This location offers breathtaking views and is one of our favorites. These are our pristine paddling locations. We do group paddles of up to 10 people at a time. If you would like to rent the boards on your own, you can come by and pick them up or we can deliver to your location of your choice. We only charge a delivery fee if the location is over 15 miles away and with a minimum of 2 hour rental.

History

Established in 2013.

Paddles Up was established in the summer of 2013 by Amanda Mavar-​Schmidt. She is a coast native and knows the waterways well. Having lived in Florida for 8 years, she discovered the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding and fell in love with it. She is an avid boater and outdoors lover. Physical fitness is important but she love to have fun doing it and would love to share with everyone her love of the paddle boarding and the water.

Business Owner

Amanda has been an avid paddle boarder for 4 years and wants to share her love of SUP with anyone who wants it! Come paddle with Paddles UP!

She races all over the southeast region and beyond and is involved in all sorts of SUP activities including SUP Yoga, Paddlefit, and just plain olé fun paddles with a great group of people.
