We have over 110 miles of off road trails right at our doorstep, so naturally we specialize in off-​road bicycles! We sell a range of different trail options but we also have comfort/​hybrid bikes and performance road bikes as well as any cycling accessory that you can think of. We have a skilled service department who can work on any type of bike and we also have a large rental fleet. We offer other services such as bicycle fitting and free group rides, both on the trail and the road.

History

Established in 2001.

The shop was first opened by the Phelps family, of which Mike is still with the business today as our head mechanic. Because of our location, our strengths are in off-​road bicycles but we also have a strong following in road and triathlon riders. The business was originally located just across the road from where it is now. The shop moved in 2013 to its current location where we enjoy more ceiling space whilst keeping our trail access.

Our customers and their bikes come first. We are all avid riders at Santos Bike Shop, whether it’s road or off-​road (most of us ride both). We have all gained something from cycling and we are passionate about giving it back to the community! That passion is the foundation of the business and the reason we give to every customer the same excellent service that we would expect if it were our own bicycle.

Chiggy C.

Manager

In his own words, Chiggy has no idea as to where his nickname came from but only his wife, his mother and the Bank call him Alex anymore. Chiggy recently graduated from Oxford Brookes University in England with a bachelors degree in Sports Science. After moving to the States, Chiggy has moved from road racing to triathlon and is hoping to complete an Iron Man race in 2016. He joined us in June 2014 and hasn’t looked back a day since!
