Bland chicken club, and fries were saturated in old grease. First and last time for me.

I used to frequent this place but last time I went there the chicken strips were raw. Management was very compassionate and gave me some free meal cards, which I promptly gave to my friends. Make sure the meat is cooked. Otherwise very good food.

Pretty good for fast food, definitely one of the healthiest fast foods around here. Wish they had a little bigger of a selection.

Should not have spend 40.00 for dinner and listen to 6 kids scream and open and close the door while parents ignore it. Folks were complaining and management did nothing about it! This was 9÷6÷2015 at 7pm. Will have to think twice since manager did not have concern for patrons!!! C Dehn, ocala

I really disliked my experience. I’m the type who could live off of chicken tenders, but not PDQ’s. The chicken was miniature in size, greasy, and when you took a bite all of the breading fell off. It was a complete waste of money. The blueberry coleslaw didn’t impress me. My husband ordered the same meal with fries, his fries were cooked in old oil and super oily. We won’t be back.

Ok… So I stand corrected. I was contacted for my review here and given the opportunity to have my impression changed. Hard sale??? I don’t think so, but let’s groove! I took the entire family to PDQ for a second opinion… I met with Charlie, the Ops Manager. He took us on a tour where we found no freezers for the«frozen food» that I thought we were served last time. I am shocked that it’s all fresh! It was pretty dang clean to boot. Let’s talk meal… He served us an entire meal that was top-shelf. Everything was fresh! I had the turkey sandwich that was fried. It was delicious. So fresh and crunchy but not dripping with grease. The fries were made to order and the sauce was homemade too!!! Let’s talk treats. Each milkshake was specially made just for my family and it was thick. I have to d Say that Charlie surely changed my perspective of PDQ. we will be back. Thank you… You were great!!! #PostingDiva #DivaDoesReviews

I really liked this place! We were in Ocala getting pictures taken and stopped here for a quick bite before we needed to be back to view our proofs. The restaurant is very modern and clean. Apparently PDQ stands for«people dedicated to quality,» and I found this to be true. All meals will run you about $ 8 and feature chicken tenders. My husband has a buffalo sandwich that he enjoyed, and I had a fried chicken tender salad with honey mustard dressing. Super good. For sides they have French fries(thin and crispy) and blueberry coleslaw. I was intrigued by the coleslaw, but it was just a drier coleslaw with a few blueberries and poppyseed. It was good but nothing special. We had a little extra time and each got a milkshake as they are half off everyday from 3 – 5. They were good. I would definitely come back for a quick, tasty meal!

As I drove on SR200 in Ocala, I saw PDQ and remembered my friend Sue’s recommendation. I stopped in and as I walked in, I was impressed with the welcoming vibe. The wood floors and the spotless open kitchen catch your attention almost immediately. The menu is simple and to the point, all they serve is chicken. You can choose either sandwiches, salads or plain chicken tenders. I chose to go with the 4-Piece Tenders Meal that comes with fries or blueberry coleslaw and a drink. I chose the fries and that was the only let-down due to their soggyness, I prefer crispy fries. I will say their fries are fresh cut and have great potential. The chicken tenders can be ordered fried or grilled. Lately, I have been choosing grilled because its healthier and I’m not getting any younger. The tenders were juicy and cooked perfectly. I very much enjoyed the sauce I picked which was Creamy Garlic, it tastes like it sounds so make sure you have mints. The only thing I wish they had was more than just cookies for dessert. They offer milk shakes but I prefer creating my own concoction of soda using their modern Coke machine. The service was friendly and the orders come out fast. They call your name out using a microphone when it’s ready and you can choose to sit inside or outside. They also have a drive thru in case you’re in a hurry. I can’t stress enough how clean this place is, it shows that they take that as a priority. PDQ is located next to the Paddock Mall in Ocala very close to I-75 so if you’re in the mood to try something new, give it a try!

Tried it for the first time today because Chick-Fil-A was closed. Honestly I was very impressed. Everything was fresh and chicken was juicy. For the Price and Freshness I would definitely go back. Gave Chick-Fil-A a run for its money.

Love Love Love their grilled chicken salad with cranberries, sliced pecan slivers and blueberry vinaigrette dressing. The place is spacious, very nice warm inviting environment and the food is great. The staff is always cheerful and friendly so this makes for a wonderful dining experience. Great tasting healthy food for well under $ 10. Highly recommend.

That was a pretty good grilled chicken sandwich! Along with blueberry slaw! Diet root beer too! We dropped in here recently for lunch and I do admit is was quick. Order at the counter, take a seat, and they announce your name when the food is ready. Took only a few minutes and the place was packed. You can go healthy and grilled, or unhealthy and fried crispy style. I dug the slaw. The also make shakes here too. They have those new Coke soda machines that offer like a gazillion soda options. It’s a large, brand new, clean and bright space with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly abd cheery. From what I heard Tim Tebow and Vinnie Testaverde have invested in this place. Hope they don’t fumble this one away. Timmy needs a new career since the NFL played a game of chicken with him and he got cooked.

With the team of Tim Tebow and Vinny Testaverde as franchise investors this location is headed to be a winner. Chicken is the fare here and it rises above the fast food type chicken restaurants. Aside from the quality that sets them apart it’s also because it’s limited service. Order and pay at the counter, find a table and your name will shortly be called out. The kitchen is open so you can watch your food being made. The chicken strips are ever so lightly battered and served alone or w/fries and a beverage. They have a house made coleslaw w/blueberries to substitute for fries if you’d like. You get to choose from 7 different homemade sauces for your chicken. And if you’re having a salad there are also 7 different homemade dressings. Unusual but necessary this day and age is a large sink like station in the lobby for customers to disinfect if they’d so like. Yes I would. Thank you very much! The space is huge!!! Never a problem to find a comfortable place to sit. Parking? Not a problem either. Current health inspection: 1-high priority, 2-intermidiate and 1 basic violation.

Pretty Damn Quick indeed… I had never heard of this chain a week ago, but after seeing them all over the Tampa area, I wanted to try one on the way back to God’s Country. The Ocala location looks to the be the newest and the last chance to try PDQ as you head north(or «South», as it were) PDQ is not far off the interstate, and is a chicken tender(or «fingers» if you’re from my neck of the woods) restaurant, reminiscent of Zaxby’s and Guthrie’s, among others. It also has a drive through, which was what we did The menu is relatively simple, comprising various-sized boxed of chicken tenders and some sandwich options. The sandwiches didn’t look as good or affordable as the tenders. A box of 4 tenders, fries, and a drink came in somewhere around $ 8-$ 9 dollars. Service was fast, although my drink order got mixed up(I guess my accent is too thick. I was asking for«Sweet Heat» sauce and got«Sweet Tea» for a drink) — no bid deal. Oh, I mean REALFAST — like, straw-not-yet-in-drink-nor-wallet-in-pocket fast. Wow. They moved three cars in and out before I could blink. I REALLY liked the food. The chicken tenders were better than Zaxby’s easily, and rival Guthrie’s. The breading was not too heavy in my opinion, nicely peppered, and just generally made the chicken taste very good. The fries were also surprisingly good. They were small little fries, like Whataburger, but much better than WhatWhats. The only problems — the Sweet Heat sauce was TERRIBLE. Like inedible bad. Don’t get it — stick with honey mustard, barbecue, or their other sauces. Also, the sweet tea was really nasty(not improved by the fact that I hadn’t ordered it) — like, worse than McDonald’s Brisk-level bad. And, in fact, it was probably instant. Not only was it not sweet enough, but it had the bad aftertaste of instant tea. As it turns out, when I returned to my vehicle after getting gas next door, most of my fries were eaten. «Oh not you don’t, take me to Zaxby’s!» I said. I got a fried mushroom to replace the fries and ordered a Zax Sauce which solved my nasty-sauce problem. So, in sum, this will definitely be a top choice for me next time I am on I-75 and hungry near the Horse Capital of the World.

People Dedicated to Quality. More like pretty darn quick!!! Great atmosphere. Very attentive. Ordered 3 meals(tenders, sandwich, and a salad) and they were calling are order up before we could even finish getting our drinks. The food was delicious. They had staff going around asking if there was anything we needed that they could help us get. The chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned and hot with nice cold lettuce!

PDQ has always been a favorite of mine since visiting my first one in South Florida. The location in Ocala is crazy busy — I have not seen so many people line up for chicken inspired sandwiches and salads ever. Be prepared to wait in line for ordering and also finding a table!
