Our first visit and the kids loved it! They had a great time and loved the flavors and toppings.

Pretty awesome place! Very modern interior, clean, went on a rainy day and didn’t notice any smell at all! Got 3 cups with loads of toppings for just a little over $ 9, amazing deal. definitely beats the other 3 or 4 yogurt places I’ve been to. Fruit was extremely fresh, better than some farmers market fruit that I’ve had before. Very happy with this find, will be back again!

This is a great place to take the kids for a quick treat(especially in the summer-time). Our kids love an opportunity to come here. However, be careful not to fill the giant cup all the way to the top as it will likely be way too much yogurt for the younger kids to eat. We love the diversity of toppings. It is great way to easily encourage young children to branch out and try different toppings that they normally wouldn’t go for. We love Mochi!

This is convinietly located across from the Hollywood 16 movie theatre. A good place to chill after the movie. This is frozen yogurt with too, too many toppings. You’ll find some of the usual suspects but also some eclectic toppings. My favorite is the pound cake topping. There are 4 various frozen yogurts to choose from. After you complete your yogurt sundae, the item is weighed and you pay by oz. Don’t get too many heavy toppings :-) The help is very complacent and nt veryhelpful since you serve yourself. On a nice day it’s great to sit outside their store to eat. Current health inspections: 0 violations.

Awesome little place! If you go here it WILL spoil you and you will never like another Frozen Yougurt place again… It is your decision! I won’t turn down a Mochi!!! Great selection of flavors, they add a new one pretty often but keep all the favs around also. Def have to try the Taro!!!

Mochi trumps Peachwave in my book ! I live bout 5 mins from Peachwave, but will drive the additional 10 –15 min depending on traffic for My Mochi. Flavors are fresh, crisp and light. Truly tastes like frozen yogurt not some custardy mess. I am more health conscious so I don’t go for all the sugary, chocolate and the like toppings. Opting to get more bang out of my buck with more yogurt ! My fav standby flavor is Taro. very unique. But haven’t been disappointed yet trying out their new flavors, melon, green tea, cake batter to name a few. They have a customer rewards type card with 20% off weight after 6 yogurts(I think) As far as smell is concerned, I experienced a bad smell visiting Mochi after some rain. Their carpet was soaked and musty but since I usually sit outside or take My Mochi to go this was only an issue for about the 7 seconds it took me to get my yogurt and go. The staff are clueless as a fellow Unilocaler here mentioned, college students who still have no clue about customer service…

As a chain, i like Mochi. I’ve always been happy with the consistency of the stores in Gainesville. I was excited for the Ocala opening, and in the beginning it was good. However the last few months it has gone downhill. Yes, there is a definite funky smell in there as others posted. But the past couple visits really turned me off. The fruit is looking far from fresh, especially the soggy pale looking strawberries. There were fruit flies hovering over the area today when I went in which totally grossed me out. Don’t plan on going back.

I love my Mochi, but I have to agree with Chase about the smell and lack of seating. What the hell is up with that smell, idk. But it does smell like a giant sour milk factory.

I am a native Ocali, visiting from DC where Frozen Yogurt shops are on every corner, and decided to give this location a try. The number of yogurt flavors was impressive and the topping selections were adequate. The biggest complaint I have is the smell. When I first walked upon the shop I noticed a sour-trash smell which I assumed was from either the outside garbage or an adjacent establishment. Once I stepped into Mochi the smell became overwhelming. It smelled like someone had spilled yogurt ingredients on the floor last week and never cleaned it up. It was almost enough for me to lose my appetite, If I wasn’t with my family I probably would have walked right back out the door. This was the first yogurt shop I’ve visited where this odor was present so, I know it’s not a side affect of the product. Another complaint I have is the lack of outdoor table seating. There were plenty of benches but only a couple of tables for groups to sit at. The group I was with had to drag two benches together so that we could enjoy our yogurts with each other. Hopefully the smell was a fluke.
