Description

Specialties

We offer two lovely bedrooms with private baths and separate entrances in our renovated 1880 Victorian brick home. Guests are welcome to relax on the side porch or in the living room. We serve a full breakfast every morning in the dining room featuring local/organic products and eggs from our own free-range organic chickens. Free WIFI is available throughout the house.

History

Established in 2012.

We purchased the home in 2011 and began renovations that year with the goal of being open for Oberlin College’s graduation in 2012. We achieved that by the skin of our teeth and continue to welcome guests although our renovations are not yet fully complete (and possibly never will be!). The guest rooms and bathrooms are finished and we ensure that our guests are never inconvenienced by what is going on «behind the scenes.»

Meet the Business Owner

Janet and Dominique M.

Business Owner

Janet is the «buckeye,» having grown up in Oberlin, and Dominique is the «frog,» born and raised in Paris, France. After many, many years away, Janet is thrilled to be back in Ohio and Dominique loves his new home town. Having a B&B is something we’ve talked about for a long time and it is just as fun as we thought it would be, especially in Oberlin where there are so many interesting and educated people coming through.
