Laser Smooth Solutions

I went here around 2013 back when they were in a smaller office but I finished up my treatments after they’d already moved into their current office. I’ve always disliked body hair. I’ve used Nair, Nads wax strips, threading, waxing, plucking, shaving.
I’m happy with my results 2+ years after I ended my treatments at LSS. For all the areas I think I did about half a year/​a year’s worth of treatments before I ended treatments when I moved away. Note though that I have pale skin, dark hair, and am hairy, which is the ideal conditions for laser hair removal.
Arms: I shave my arms about once a week now (down from every day in the morning). The hair is not noticeable at all anyways. Some people make fun of me for having hairless arms, but before they made fun of me for having hairy arms. I’m happier with my arms now.
Armpit: I still shave my armpits about every 2 or 3 days (down from every day and hair growth by the end of the day). Again, the hair is lot finer now and even if I had 3 – 4 days growth of armpit hair it is slight enough for me to not be embarrassed.
Legs: I shave my legs about once or twice a week and they’re still almost always smooth even when there’s a little growth (down from every day and prickly hair growth by the end of the day). I only did something like 5 treatments for legs, it worked wonders.
Upper lip: I use an oscillator from Bed Bath and Bodyworks to take off upper lip hair about every 3 days (used to Nair every 3 days or get a wax every 5 days). I had the most number of treatments for upper lip (no matter what else I was in there for arms, legs, I always also did upper lip). This hair has been the most stubborn and difficult to get rid of. The hair itself isn’t as obvious as body hair AND the technicians are more careful because the skin on my face is more sensitive than the rest of my body plus a burn on my face would be awful. The hair is lighter now than it used to be and much less embarrassing. I’m going to see if some more treatments can’t finally beat it back to a satisfying level.
Summary: I’m happy with the results, so glad I got it done. Always like the office and staff. I thought it was expensive, but I’ve been looking at other laser hair removal on Unilocal the other places look worse and more expensive.

I’ve always flirted with the idea of getting laser hair removal treatments but was afraid of two things: pain and price.
Two years ago I came across Laser Smooth Solutions and could not be any happier! April and her staff are SO accommodating and super nice. I can’t even recall how I lived without laser treatment.
Pain: The mints at the front desk gets your mind off the pain :) and for me, the technician doing the treatment/​procedure telling me stories helps get my mind off what’s happening. Next thing you know, it’s over! Depending on what areas you get done, you could be out in 5−15… 15 mins for beauty? Yes please!
Price: This has got to be the best deal for laser hair removal in the entire area. I travel 30 mins to get to this location and have not even thought twice about finding another place.
Results: I’m so close to being hairless in the areas I’ve gotten treatment on! So nice not to think about shaving and suffer thru the pains of waxing… I much rather do laser removal than waxing. No pigmentation. Keep in mind the number of sessions needed varies upon many personal factors.

If you go here you must see Abby. She is the only reason I am giving this place 5 stars– Abby makes the process as painless as possible and is definitely the most friendly and professional person you could ask to do this. There has seemed to be a lot of turnover and they will put you with a random inexperienced person if you don’t request her, so definitely be sure to put in your request when booking each time.

Great and friendly staff! I got 12 sessions of laser hair removal here and saw an 80% reduction in hair growth. Keep in mind that 12+ sessions are probably required to eliminate hair completely, since it took me 12 so far to see the results, and I’m East Asian with relatively light skin and dark hair. The one star off is due the fact that depending on the technician, the number of laser applications I got varied each time, and due to 3 tiny missed spots. I would still recommend overall.

This is my first time giving a 1 star rating (and they don’t even deserve the 1 star). I came to Laser Smooth Solutions for laser hair removal in 2013 to 2014. To this day, I remember how cheated I felt after my experience with this salon and finally decided to write a review. At the beginning of each laser session, after the first one, I would let the technician know that I haven’t noticed any difference and that the treatments are not working. I was told that the treatment is working and that I’ll see results but the end of my treatments. Since I never had laser done before I decided to trust them and kept coming back, especially since they had good reviews. Well after all the treatments were completed, I had at most 5% less hair than started with. Definitely not the results I was expecting! I asked for a copy of my file, so that I know what laser settings were used on me and they refused. They were rude and did not care what the results were. Also, the treatments were very painful. What a waste of time and money. I will never go back there again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’m so happy I discovered this gem.

The place looks and feels clean. It’s a comfortable area and the receptionists/​techs are always friendly.
Every single technician that I’ve worked with are great. They really put you at ease and answer your questions honestly and thoroughly.
Price — can’t beat it. This place has amazing deals and even their stand alone prices are more than competitive.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and I have to say I absolutely love it. April, the owner has outstanding customer service and she really makes you feel welcomed and works with you to make sure you’re happy. Everyone that I get to do my treatments have been great except 1, but April fixed that problem and I don’t think she works there anymore. And the staff is awesome, professional, super nice and makes you feel as comfortable as can be. I was there over a year ago to get 6 sessions and just recently came back for another 6. The reduction is about 50%-60% after 6 sessions and some areas were gone by then.
I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to see someone. 100% you should try this place. Actually should be your first choice for laser removal! You will not go anywhere else.

I purchased a Groupon for 6 laser hair removal sessions — Brazilian and one small area. I have had 5 of my sessions and always have a good experience when I come here. The laser is only slightly uncomfortable and way less painful than waxing. I have had several different technicians and each were knowledgeable and friendly during the session. I will recommend for sure!

Love this place! They have really really nice staff and many specials going on throughout the year. I pre-​paid for 6 sessions during their Christmas special season and was very happy with the price. I think I’ve had about 3 different laser technicians throughout the 6 sessions and each one was friendly and professional. They welcomed any questions and always had an answer.
I’ve noticed about 50−60% reduction, which they said was normal for 6 sessions. I may schedule more in the winter so that I’m all ready for summer 2016 (:

I have to say that I was skeptical of laser hair removal. LSS was so welcoming and the staff was so friendly. My technician, Abby, was engaging and explained everything in detail to me and made the experience much less awkward than I thought it would be. I will be continuing my treatments with LSS. I would definitely recommend LSS to anyone looking to have any of the treatments they provide.

I’ve had an amazing experience with laser smooth. Initially I came in for acne issues on my shoulders that popped up out of nowhere. After several dermatology visits and a course of antibiotics and basically zero result, I contacted laser smooth. The team assessed and decided IPL would be a great way to keep the acne away and also to remove a lot of the scarring from previous breakouts. I was skeptical, but their prices were very affordable and I figured it couldn’t hurt to try.
I can’t be more pleased– one session per month and my back looks better after 2 treatments. The scarring is dramatically increased and I’m so much more comfortable taking my shirt off for swim season. They have been extremely professional and aren’t the type to make unnecessary recommendations. They also are very good about sending appointment reminders via email and text. I have enjoyed them so much, I even opted to try pixel laser on my face and I can’t tell you how many people have commented how amazing my complexion is!
Definitely recommend coming by for a consultation.

I started going to this place because of a deal that I had scored. But that deal has long expired and I still keep coming back for two reasons. First the results of the hair removal are great and second the staff is awesome. Everyone I have encountered is super nice and friendly, and what’s more is that there has been very little turnover during the time I have been going. I used to go to a different laser place and the turnover there was huge, so the minimal turnover to me is an indicator of the quality of the workplace. The prices are comparable to other places and the deals that they run are pretty good.

I would 100% recommend this place. I got some laser hair removal sessions and it was a great experience. they are not trying to get your money, as many other places that I’ve been. The staff, from receptionist to therapists, is exceptional, very competent, helpful, professional, thorough, conscientious…

I have never felt compelled to write a review about any business before now, but Laser Smooth Solutions is a special place, a 5 star business.
Last year, I went to Laser Smooth Solutions for laser treatments and truly appreciated the professionalism, ambiance and ‘of course’ the results of the treatment. With such positive experiences fresh in my mind, I signed up for IPL treatments and couldn’t be happier.

I rarely give 5*, but this place deserves it. I found them on living social and was surprised to see results within 2 weeks of 1^st visit. I’m Halle Berry color, and the laser worked on me w no burning. After 2 weeks it appeared to be 70% reduction. Looks more like 20% after 8 weeks of growth… still, a pack of 6 should get em all at that rate, right?
The laser staff is professional and thorough which I appreciated for my Brazilian treatment. Since my first (and 2^nd appt), I’ve taken advantage of their specials when they come up (check the website and join the email list), and bought packages for nearly my entire body at a fraction of Ideal Image. Plus I’ve actually seen it work. They don’t up-​sell you, or try to scam with gimmicky ‘deals’. Just a laser that works and great prices. I go out of my way (1hr drive) to get lazed here, bc I’d rather invest the time here, and save the money, than waste both getting twice as many, more expensive treatments elsewhere.
