word! this place looks, sounds like a korean eatery but isn’t, this is a chinese restaurant specializing in northern chinese dishes. there isn’t any korean carryovers from gigul gigul.
a korean food addict dropped in for some veggie dish. was told they were sold out and to come back tomorrow. she got up and left immediatley.
the «san wang seafood noodle soup”(8.50) was very spicy with several pieces of shrimps, squid, cockle, onions, etc. the people here have no direct relation with san wang of san francisco, the noodle isn’t hand pulled but «knife-​cutted» which the cook explained with a chopping motion of his hand.
the prices are pricier than chitown but the spicyness is definitely here. expect to pay a little extra for a different kind of chinese fare.
