True Essence Multi-​Ethnic Salon’s owner, Idowu Koyejo, has been a stylist for over 14 years, serving the entire Bay Area with her God-​given talents ranging from hair extensions to makeup. Her work has been featured in popular magazines such as Essence, Passion, and Trendz, local independant films, and trained under some of the best master stylists around the Bay Area and serviced some of our very own local celebrities. True Essence is located on the Piedmont Stroll, nested in the courtyard of the «Piedmont Lane Gallery»

Here at True Essence we offer a wide range of services for all hair textures and lengths, serving all ages, using an array of products such as Paul Mitchell, Design Essential, Mizani, Nairobi, TheraFuse, MoroccanOil, Joico… We like to use the latest, safest techniques and provide our customers with a calm, serene environment.
