Barbara M.
Business Owner
Barbara Morrison, a Bay Area business and civic leader, is the founder and president of TMC Financing, a certified development company that provides commercial real estate financing.
Barbara is also the founder and board president of Working Solutions, an innovative nonprofit microlender that helps underserved entrepreneurs access the capital and hands-on technical assistance they need to start and grow their businesses.
Barbara developed her passion for small business economic development early in her career as an investment banker and while serving as deputy director of the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development in San Francisco.
Barbara has been widely recognized for her outstanding leadership and advocacy for women and small business owners. Recent honors include Marin Women’s Hall of Fame; Most Influential Women in the Bay Area; Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence and Financial Woman of the Year Award.
