Had bridge work done twice, failed both times. The dr & his staff were great, even refunded $$. Suspect they use a bad lab, because the dr really tried to make it work.

I had to go to another dentist while out of town. The dentist in Palm Springs was really rough with my root canal and no chairside manner. It was almost traumatizing! I called Dr Han’s office basically crying and they got me in within 3 weeks. I needed time to heal anyways. I’m happy to report that my root canal has been taken care of and I got a pretty crown too. Love this guy!

Timothy Han, DDS is great a dentist who cares for patient before his own interest.
His skill is impeccable since Dr. Han has a long years of experiences.‘

It’s hard to go wrong with Dr. Han because he has a caring heart with great skills.

I’ve been going to Dr. Han for all my dental work for some time now and decided to finally post a review. From the 1^st visit, Dr. Han made me feel very comfortable, listened carefully to my needs and provided expert dentistry. He’s efficient, very knowledgeable, super fast and yet does superior work. I’ve been to many dentists over my life and I’ve never quite had this type of professional honest caring treatment! His office is very simple; little wait time when u make an appointment, super friendly and knowledgeable staff including the nice receptionist! Convenient location in downtown with plenty of street parking most times within a block or two. I’ve recommended him to my family and friends but they’re mostly in the South Bay and hard to get to Dr. Han’s office. He has made my going to my dental appointments a pleasure! When I need emergency work, his receptionist tries to get me in as soon as possible. He even once called me on my cell phone to ensure everything went well. Thank you Dr. Han for providing a great service with a smile!

For some reason my insurance decided to pick Mr Han and this was the WORST place to ever come to. I scheduled an appointment and I only ended up getting xrayed and was told that I have a verrrry sufficient amount of cavities. Didn’t get ANY cleaning or whatsoever.
Okay. So my following appointment to start on my cavities was scheduled and guess what happens? A few days before my appointment, his female assistant that was some white (forgot her name) asked if it was okay to reschedule. Aite homegirl, I specifically took that day off from work to come in and there is no way in hell I am rescheduling.
Upon my second arrival all Mr Han did was try to fill in ONE cavity and I still had no cleaning and didn’t get my «worrisome cavity» that should be paid close attention to. Dafuq? Then his female assistant from last time was like «you can swallow it, it’s just saliva» after he done drilled my teeth with all that dust in my mouth. I wanted to bust a cap on her a**. Oh I should mention how Han went back to the other patient after dealing with me. This was probably the patient he wanted to come in on the day that I was scheduled to.
Anyway, he did a half a**ed job of filling in my cavity, I had to find out at another dental office that he didn’t even finish that one, especially when the filling fell out while I ate (pretty sure I ate it too).
All he cares about is money. I believe he booked a patient knowing I’m supposed to come in, so he decided to «squeeze» me in. I should mention how he only does the resin based filling, not silver fillings that my insurance would cover significantly. By the way, my new dentist that I now go to told me that my «several» cavities weren’t even really considered major and didn’t need to be worked on as long as I brush as I normally would.
I personally do not think he is a certified person to be a dentist. Unless you are a patient with money then that would probably make him dance alright, but for your sake and teeth’s sake, avoid as I feel that he is not really a qualified dentist.

I have been going here ever since I was a child (25 now). He is quite a knowledgable and skilled dentist. I’ve had fillings, root canals, cleanings, and tooth extractions done by Timothy Han.

I have been going to Dr. Han for over 10 years and have nothing but great things to say about him. He is the nicest guy you will ever meet. I have dental insurance so I try to see him twice a year for cleanings and average a filling a year. There have been a few times when I missed some cleanings or waited too long in between cleanings and needed a deep cleaning which isn’t covered by insurance. But I am more than willing to pay out of pocket for the deep cleaning because I think of it as preventative maintenance which will save me money in the long run. Plus my teeth and gums feel so good and clean afterwards.
I also recently needed a root canal and was pleasantly surprised to hear that he performs this procedure. I was a bit nervous since it had been about 20 years since my last root canal but the procedure was painless and I have not had any problems with my tooth since (procedure was done about 2 weeks ago). I am one of those people that have nightmares about their teeth falling out so I religiously floss and brush my teeth twice a day. I don’t take dental care lightly and I fully trust Dr. Han for all my dental needs.

This guy lies! I changed dentist and the new one said my gums were perfectly fine! Go to Franklin Dental Center.

I had a similar experience to those already mentioned. I wish I had read the other comments before going to this dentist.
The receptionist took x-​rays, and had me wait in the dentist chair. Normally this is the time where the hygienest cleans your teeth — this did not happen.
Eventually, Dr. Han came over. He had already looked at my x-​rays, and asked me how much I had spent on my tooth implants (I have two of them). This was very off-​putting. He didn’t introduce himself, and his first words to me were about money.
Dr. Han then proceeded to tell me that my teeth and gums looked good, and that I didn’t have any cavities. He then told me that I needed a deep cleaning. I have never heard of this before. When I asked for an explanation, I was shown a slip of paper that basically claims that under no circumstances will I receive a regular cleaning.
Dr. Han refused to give me a regular cleaning, and the receptionist told me that my insurance does not cover a deep cleaning.
I did some research online last night, and it turns out that deep cleaning is usually for much older people (I am only 28), and for people with really really bad teeth and gums.
This place is a scam. They are only interested in your money. No reputable dentist would refuse to give you the service that your insurance covers, and they definitely would not try to trick you into purchasing unnecessary procedures.

If you value your teeth, DO NOT go to Dr. Han! If I could give negative stars, I would! This was the worst experience at a dental office I’ve ever had! He’s just a guy with his own office, trying to save a few extra bucks.
The only reason why I decided to try this place out was because of location. I didn’t ask around, which was a BIG MISTAKE. Because of what happened to me, I felt like enough people are using Unilocal that I can warn you about his dental office.
I had an appointment to get a «deep cavity filling» with Dr. Han. Everything went WRONG. First, he injected me with novocaine. After 10 mins, he came back to start the procedure… except I WAS NOT COMPLETELY NUMB. I felt him drilling at my teeth, so I started voicing my discomfort. This made him inject me a second time, and I waited another 10 mins for him to continue the procedure. Yet again, I WAS NOT COMPLETELY NUMB! This time, instead of trying to give me more novocaine, he continued with the procedure! I could feel him drilling and drilling, and I pretty much yelled the entire time. All he kept on saying was, «you’re almost done, you’re almost done…» No I wasn’t! The procedure seemed like it took forever! In addition to that, he did not have an assistant helping him. Now, what’s the problem with that? He uses straight spit sucker, not the kind that hooks into your mouth… the STRAIGHT ones. So, in order to keep the suction tube in my mouth, he lodged it into my gums underneath my tongue! This, of course, cut my gums and I was in even more pain! When I left, the receptionist asked me to make a follow-​up appointment, but there was no way I’d ever go back there again! I felt bad for all the people in the waiting room, bc apparently, my brother told me you could hear me screaming from down the hall.
Oh, and that’s not all…
After he was done, he told me that the pain would last for a good 24 hours since it was a deep cavity… try 2 months! I couldn’t eat normally. Anything that touched it, hot, cold, or even lukewarm would hurt! I ended up losing 15 pounds because I wasn’t eating normally. I had to drink out of a straw and I never had an appetite because the pain was so unbearable. The only reason why the pain decreased (it never completely went away) was because my uncle gave me pain killers that I took twice a day.
Soon after that, I switched to another dentist to see if there was something they could do to help. Turns out, Dr. Han went too deep when filling my cavity, and he damaged a nerve, which would require me to get a root canal!
Now I have this lovely silver crown that glistens every time smile. Thanks Dr. Han! (please note the sarcasm)
If you’re looking for a good place, I now go to Summit Dental on 34^th. They saved me from Dr. Han!

The receptionist was the rudest person ever, no understanding and no customer service whatsoever.
After reading many reviews online about dentists that my insurance covered, I ended with Timothy Han b/​c it seemed like he had a good reputation. Well, apparently, my insurance lists him and Grace Dental separately, with different addresses and phone #s.
I called both offices and asked «do you guys do Invisalign?» The second time I called Timothy office and the girl said in a rude tone «didn’t you just call and ask?».

Ok, fine, I’m dumb and should have known they were same (uh huh). So I want to make an appt, she said nope you can’t, not until you select us. Well for DeltaCare, the selection is effective the next month, can I even make an appt now first to save the spot? Nope, too bad, select it first and we can’t do anything. So she’s saying I’m a liar with no insurance.
Ok, fine, have it your way.
I wish there was a 0 stars for this receptionist. I hope the dentist reads this b/​c I’m sure he’s a good guy but unfortunately he just lost a customer.
