Ahhh home sweet home. When I’m in Oakland this the place to be. Since a kid this spot been my favorite taco spot, they stay true to the taste. I’m glad it’s still around and hope it will be for a long time. Nothing screams Oakland Tacos like 22nd. I’ll be there soon to get some Tacos de Lengua and Cabeza with my large Agua de Jamaica.

This place is great. Known for the great tacos especially the juicy shrimp tacos. If your in town for lunch, dinner or Taco cravings you must stop at taqueria Sinaloa and get your fix.

I ordered a steak and shrimp burrito and it was good, I know before they upgraded things they would give more for your money! I had only 4 shrimps and didn’t really taste the steak and plus side is the lady speaks english! Overall good food, parking lot packed…

I come here for the shrimp and fish tacos. They are truly the best in town. Try ‘em out. Cash only, so leave your credit cards at home.

This is a 3.5 stars review. A fellow Unilocaler recommended this place to me, especially their fish tacos. So hubby & I got 5 tacos, fish, shrimp, chorizo, pork and the shredded beef. Unfortunately, the fish & shrimp tacos were our least favorite. Actually we didn’t like them at all. Sorry Bobby! The chorizo was ok, but the pork and shredded beef on the other hand were delicious. Crispy and juicy and extremely flavorful. Considering the price, it’s not a bad deal but I would never drive up to Oakland to have them. We have better tacos here on this side of the bay.

I almost cried at the first bite of my carne asada taco bc it was the best single bite of food I could ask for. It is hands down the best carne asada taco I’ve had so I ended up ordering five of them. The tacos were $ 2 each. Next time I will try their burrito bc it seemed to be 15″ long!

My #1 Taco truck in the town. First of lets talk about the fact that they have 2 taco trucks and seating. What other taco truck in the bay offers this many seats with hot sauce at every table… Private parking, yep! This is the real deal — quality meat, fresh tortillas, all served with a smile. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Incredible. Me and my homie hit this food truck up around 9:30pm after a super dope lecture from Dr. Joy Degruy. I ordered the super steak burrito for $ 12. Why did I order the super? The fucking burrito was the size of my arm. The flavor was supper on point. Juicy. Fatty. Salty. With allot of cheese. They don’t lack on quality towards the end of the night and I respect that.

My coworkers and I were on our way to get some Asian food, but after seeing these taco trucks parked on the corner, we decided to try to give it a try since I heard the taco trucks in East Oakland were pretty damn good. And sure enough… THEYWEREBOMB! I ordered a few tacos: Al Pastor(marinated pork), Cabeza(beef head) and Suadero(beef leg/belly) with an Agua Fresa. All of the meats were packed with tons of FLAVOR! Simply delicious… The corn tortillas were perfectly crisped over their flat top grill and the sauces poured over the tacos paired well with the meats. The Suadero was my favorite(tasted like beef bacon). But it seems like you can’t go wrong with any of their meats, since I enjoyed everything I ordered. Just make sure you order at least four tacos since they are pretty small, but they do not skimp on the meat. There are a good amount of tables nearby and parking was not a problem during the lunch hour. I will definitely be back!

Tried the chicken, carnitas, shrimp, and fish. Carnitas and shrimp were standout winners here. I probably won’t even bother ordering anything else. Also, I think I prefer it to Guadalajara truck.

My Dirty Secret: I’ve made love to these tacos before. After you try your first bite… I know you will too. In the land of Taco Trucks and Taquerias, Taco Sinaloa stands at the very top. The tacos are as good as it gets. The meats are packed with flavor. The tortillas are sinfully greasy and tasty. And the salsa is the shining cherry on top. It’s rare that the same place impressed me twice. Taco Sinaloa somehow manages to impress me EVERYTIME. There’s something about the food and location. The area is not very attractive, but there’s something about the Oakland breeze, makeshift tables, and paper plates that adds another dimension to the Taco Sinaloa experience. If you’ve never had tacos from Sinaloa, then I really… REALLY…encourage you to try it. Order your plate of tacos, sit down by the tables, and enjoy yourself. It is a truly special experience.

I haven’t visited this taco truck in about a year and it was horrible. The meat was dry and tasted old. I won’t feed this to my dog.

This place is pretty sketch(confirmed by a friend who grew up here), but the food is so good that I can count on at least one dummy being here dressed up in preppy clothes. I figure if anything goes down, well… The Bay doesn’t have a lot of great Mexican options(or at least very few compared to what was available down in LA) but Taqueria Sinaloa is legit. Tacos are great, but my jam is the al pastor burrito with everything and chicken quesadilla. Takes me back.

Thank you Oakland, for not only having such great art and culture but DAMNGOODSTREETTACOS! I’ve been to this taco truck at least a handful of times and usually I take the time to stop by and get a fix of Carne Asada Tacos before heading out of the East Bay. Private little parking lot, and there are plastic tables and chairs set up for you to enjoy your food if you’re like me and aren’t patient enough to take your food home to eat it. $ 2 a taco, but they pack on the meat so it’s not too shabby but I would definitely say I do get cheaper street tacos in South Bay. Still good though and no complaints really.

BESTBREAKFASTBURRITOSEVER. No lie. I think about them often. While everything here is good(Anthony Bourdain agrees, FYI) the breakfast burritos are out of this world amazing. You haven’t had a taco truck until you’ve experienced Tacos Sinaloa. The best in Oakland, I promise you.

Everytime I’m around Oakland, I make it a must do to stop by and grab some $ 2.25 Fish tacos. Would also recommend a $ 3 large drink of fresa(strawberry or horchata.

Tacos is the way to go! Hands down, best tacos are made here. Each taco is full of flavor and has lots of meat. The pineapple is prominent in the al pastor, which is rare. Should’ve listened to Unilocal and stuck with tacos. Fell in love with their tacos that I wanted more. Got a super burrito and did not think it was actually a super-almost-2-feet-long-burrito, but it was. The flavors in the meat and rice were great and my taste buds enjoyed it. However, it was basically meat, rice, beans, and cheese in the whole entire burrito. With each bite we took, we thought there would be sour cream or guacamole, but none. Also saw a sign that read, «please don’t give money to the homeless» and we thought what an interesting sign to put up. As we were eating we were discussing about it when several people came up to us asking for money. This place is CASHONLY. Got plenty of tables, but limited parking spots. Two food trucks, but the same business making the same food. Oh, and salsa is 50 cents. The prices are slightly higher than average.

This is the real deal people. You don’t even know how much I crave this stuff when I’m out of the state. The first thing I do when I’m back is make a trip out here. Yes it’s a little sketch at 11pm at night really close to the highway underpass but this sh*t is the bomb. This is what a REAL taco should taste like! So good, so cheap(only $ 2??? everything else in the bay area is expensive as hell but this is so worth it). They’ve got tables near the truck for you to sit at and devour your tacos. You know it’s good when there’s a line every time you go(but don’t worry, they move quickly!). Always get the lengua(tongue). It will blow your mind.

This place makes me feel like I’m in Texas(which is probably the highest compliment I could give)! Incredibly flavorful and authentic street tacos at a reasonable price! I got to try the al pastor and beef tongue tacos and were so on point. If I wasn’t food hopping all day, I probably would’ve tried all the tacos. If I’m ever in Oakland again, this place will certainly be on the itinerary.

The perfect late night spot for some good, but also cheap and really filling food! I love coming right before a party or even after to grab some veggie tacos and sitting on the picnic tables in the middle. Everything is so damn good. Listen — don’t even hesitate to come grab some food here any time of the day. I also like that it’s not in a «hip» area of Oakland so the prices are beyond reasonable and there aren’t crowds of hipsters taking up space. Drive up with a friend and get some tacos to stay.

Oh sweet merciful burrito heavens! I can’t even articulate my burrito joy. We’re southern Californians who moved to the Bay and kept asking, «Where are they keeping the normal burritos? The GOOD burritos?» HERE. It’s just two giant orange trucks. Nothing inside the building but an ATM(which you might need – it’s cash only at the trucks). I order the vegetarian(plus avocado). Side of lime. They do it right. A big yummy basic burrito, well blended, with all the fixings. Agua Fresa to cool you off. I. Can’t. Even. BURRITOS!!!

These tacos are incredible! I’ve had carne asada and chicken from their truck. Slight preference for the carne asada taco, but both were amazing. I’ll have to venture out to the actual taqueria just for those tacos again.

A friend invited me here for tacos after he moved into the neighborhood. I had passed this corner a couple of times but would never have thought about eating here. What can I say? I LOVE the place. It’s my new go-to«taco on the go» place. Seriously, what’s not to love… extremely fresh and yummy food. Super good prices($ 2 for a taco). You can sit outside… The first time around, I tried the shrimp, fish and carnitas tacos. All three of them amazing in their own right. Next time I will be a bit bolder and get the lengua or tripa. And then graduation to BURRITO!!! Yeah, it’s in the hood, the wait was a bit(but not too bad by any means) and I got asked for money by an old toothless guy when I hadn’t even left my car yet… but hey, this is Oakland…

Still the best! Sinaloa is a Fruitvale institution. My go-to menu items are TACOS – al pastor and carnitas!(My partner raves about the lengua.) The carnitas are crispy-licious, and the al pastor is flavorful(though kinda greasy!) – squeeze the oil out before eating :) I love the pickled jalapeño and carrots and the radishes to cleanse my palette. Their agua frescas are refreshing and light. Ambiance: Totally casual. Can eat outside or take home. There are sometimes panhandlers lingering near the line or vendors selling pirated CDs/DVDs if you are into that sort of thing. Parking: Free parking in their lot though space is tight, so enter and exit safely. Service: Good; fast. Tip: If you are driving down 880 and need a quick bite, take a detour to Sinaloa! You can’t go wrong.

Time: 2PM, weekday Atmosphere: Two food trucks sandwiching a parking lot and picnic tables. Not sure if the food trucks sold different things, but both said«Sinaloa» on them. We went to the one on the left. Parking: Very limited, about 5 – 6 spaces between the taco trucks. Service: Fairly quick. Food: Ordered lengua, carnitas and al pastor tacos and a horchata. The tacos were okay. We added avocado and that’s definitely worth it. Hubs enjoyed the pickled veggies and radishes. I’ve definitely had better tacos, but all in all, these were good and what tacos should be. TL:DR: Not really anything to drive out of the way for, but these were good, decent tacos. Will be back if I’m in the area.

Total perfection for a food truck! They have two different trucks with the same menu so long lines won’t be an issue, and both trucks put out their food so fast you barely have time to find a seat! We ordered a super burrito, breakfast burrito, six carne asada tacos and six chicken tacos. While the breakfast burrito wasn’t the best we’ve ever had, the super burrito was almost as big as me and we were all head over heels for the tacos! SO F-ING GOOD, JUICY, ANDOVERFLOWINGGG!!! The chicken tacos were especially amazing because they used shredded chicken instead of cut up pieces; this helped it soak in more flavor from the salsa. I also like that they provide carrots, peppers, etc. with your plate. There aren’t many seats so you might have to sit in your car or take home, but it’s definitely worth it in my book!

Dang good tacos, not quite el gordo Status, but still satisfies my taco craving In order starting from the best : Al pastor — super juicy and had extra spice. Drops down your forearm status Lengua– mm so tender, with good salsa on top Asada-standard and yummy Carnitas-crispier than others, if you’re into that fried goodness Pollo — meh. Bland Basically all of them are good with the exception of the chicken This place is worth a try so don’t miss out!

Damn, I’ve been looking for MY taco place in Oakland for over a year now, and I’ve found it! And I tried four different tacos($ 1.25ea), Carne Asada, Lengua, Al Pastor, and Chorizo. By far, the lengua(beef tongue) tacos were the star. The lengua meat was super tender, lean, flavorful, and was underscored nicely by the salsa and jalapeño. By the way, GOOD lengua is hard to come by as it can be made poorly, tough, or flavorless — so it is a MUST try here. Look for the bright orange truck and order at least 4 tacos for yourself. Next on my list — a torta.
