Siegel’s Tuxedo Shop

I am writing this review to let everyone know what a gem this business/​owner is. So professional, welcoming and altogether the easiest part of planning a wedding we had. Bruce was reassuring when we needed it and true to his word in delivering his goods. Helping the brother of the bride with last minute tuxedo rental to fitting the father of the bride with the tuxedo to walk his daughter down the aisle. Thank you, Bruce, for all your help. He’s the real deal.

It all happened in less than 6 hours. My son has junior prom today, and told me last night that he decided to go last minute. I went into the store today right when they opened at 10:30am, and the tuxedo was ready at 4pm TODAY! Talk about 9^th inning clutch — Bruce did an amazing job for my son, and I greatly appreciate all his professionalism. Will definitely come again!

Hubby had a Halloween event for work and needed a zoot suit. He told me Tuesday morning before heading out to work, so I talked to Bruce around noon and told him I need it for Friday (Halloween Day). At around 3pm, we figured out I either misheard or was never told the party was Wednesday. Ran down the street (how random is that?!) ready to rent anything remotely close and Bruce managed to have a zoot suit hemmed and ready by 5:30pm Tuesday night, threw in the vest and is letting him hang on to it for Halloween. THANK YOU, THANK YOU Bruce! You saved Halloween!

I am getting married this summer and needed to get a suit for myself and groomsmen. I was happy to know this location was so close to my home since everything else about planning has not been nearly as convenient. Well guess what! NEITHER WAS THIS.
The most striking was how disinterested and unprofessional the salesrep seemed in providing basic customer service. All he did was hand us a book and continued socializing with what seemed like his friends who were there. He was inattentive the entire time and we felt left to our own to figure things out. When we asked about protocol and how to go about making arrangements and ordering suits he haphazardly took down our information on some scratch paper and promised to call us on Monday. Monday came and went… It’s been over 2 weeks with still no call. Perhaps we didn’t seem to him as important as customers who are coming in for prom season from around the area. But we dare not trust such an important day of our lives to such horrible and neglectful business practices. They have lost not only our business but the business of our many local friends who we will assure not to come here.

Bruce is THE MAN! I Needed an awesome suit for the Grammy awards this year, and he styled me perfectly!
Everything necessary to rock the house he delivered!
I am completely convinced that the album I played on won a Grammy because of this outfit!

I needed a fashionable suit (for attending a fashion show, nonetheless) last minute… Siegel’s was perfect and the man there is extremely nice, helpful, and was able to work around my changing plans. Couldn’t have gone any better, definitely recommended, he’ll take care of you no matter if you yourself know anything about suits or not, he’ll hook you up with something nice.

I should have gone here first. I will never go anywhere else again. If they don’t have what you need, they will get it for you.

I read other people’s reviews here on Unilocal and went to this place. Bruce was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. We rented a tux and he had us in and out of there in 15 minutes. It was easy, painless, and a great experience. We need it for a future date so I’ll let you know how it goes once we pick it up but so far, I’m a fan!

I’d failed to sort out a tux for 40s-​themed holiday party. On the way home at 6:40 on the Friday evening of the party I stopped in at Siegel’s on the off chance. They were extremely helpful and found me a gatsby three-​piece, shirt, tie and handkerchief to finish it off. The whole process took about 15 minutes, including hemming the trousers to fit, and everything with a smile.
Highly recommended.

I needed measurements for my own wedding, went in, Bruce was quick, courteous and knew his stuff. Great customer service, if I need a tux to rent down the road, definitely will come back here.

Bruce is so friendly but sometimes I wish he were more professional. We always get tuxes from Siegel’s for our sorority’s Formal, and he comes to measure all our new members’ dates and then drops them off at the next dress rehearsal.
I go ahead and schedule a fitting during one of our waltz practices. He promises to call the day before, but that doesn’t happen. Oh well, probably tomorrow, then. I don’t get a call the next day, and I anxiously call around afternoon. No pick up, so I leave a voicemail. The girls and their dates get together, and we wait around for a call. Nothing. Just as we start practicing, I get a call from Bruce that he’s on his way and that he needs 30 more minutes to get there. Okay…
Everyone gets measured and pays. Bruce tells me that he will deliver them to our dress rehearsal this Friday, as he has been. The day of the dress rehearsal comes up, and once again I do not get a call. I call the tux shop, I call all the numbers he has given me, but again no one picks up. I begin panicking and make plans to head to the shop tomorrow to pick them up myself.
The next morning, at 8am Sat, before their company store hours, Bruce calls me (wakes me up actually, since we practiced until 2am that day) and tells me he will deliver the tuxes in an hour.
An hour passes. Still no tux. Late again. Okay. This is pretty (bleep) ridiculous. If I get called 8am and tuxes are supposed be here by 9am, then why the (bleep) am I going to miss my 11am appointment because no tuxes have arrived?
I appreciate his enthusiasm and his friendliness, but I wish he had called me earlier if there were any changes to when he could deliver it. Because the dates did not receive their tuxes in time, everyone now has to get to the event an extra 30 minutes beforehand in order to account for the time to get ready. Extra stress that I could do without. Not professional, and not efficient.

Just walked into Siegel’s this morning. I only needed to get measured for a tux for a wedding I’m going to in CT.
So I meet Bruce and tell him what’s up. He is friendly, professional, gets his tape out and measures me for free.
Afterwards we talk about what else Siegel’s can do for me (a tailored suit) and just a pleasant convo. Good times. I’m going back.

I freaking love this place. I rented my tux from a chain store. No big thing. But I wanted to get some very specific shoes. I went in and spoke with Bruce. They didn’t have the shoe I wanted in the store that day, so he got right on the phone and told the SF location what I was looking for. Supposedly they don’t make the shoe I wanted, so he made them check their stock room for three different sizes for me to try on. Two days later he had all three there, and I found exactly what I was looking for. The price was even better than was advertised on their website.
Strange thing is that I need a plain black and white striped tie to go with the whole color scheme (this seemingly simple color scheme is unusually hard to find for some reason). He was right on that. He found and ordered me the exact tie I was looking for.
In the future I will be going back for many many years thats for sure. This place knows customer service and they really appreciate your business. Thanks so much Siegels and thank you Bruce. You’re the man.

That’s my man Bruce! He’s been wheelin and dealin Tuxedos ever since I was a youngin. I grew up down the street from Siegul’s so Bruce is like an Uncle to me. Bottom line, he’ll take care of you.

Let it be said that I am not shaped with a tuxedo in mind. I’m getting married Friday and I wanted to wear a tux. I went into Siegel’s a couple a weeks before and the gentleman there measured me and assured me that he could fit me into a tux with tails (it is a different cut) and that it would all be fine. Well it came in yesterday and he was right. He is going to hem the cuffs of the jacket (pants are already done) and he’s going to loan me shirt studs too. He’s giving me an extra day to bring it back so I don’t have to race in the next day when we are having the reception.
I was treated well and the guy knows what he is doing. If I ever need a tux this is where I will go and if you need one check them out.
