Shana Sturm Classical Homeopathy

The initial session was very expensive, but Shana
assured me that there would be several different remedies we could try. However, she failed to mention that each new remedy would require another full hour session, and the associated cost. In addition, when I tried communicating with her after our initial session, she was incredibly difficult to reach, and quite unresponsive. I would stay away from this one. Spend your money elsewhere.

I am so thankful for having found Shana Sturm! My 4 year old son suffers, I should say suffered, from severe asthma. When Shana met us she was a refreshing change from all of the «doctor» visits my son has had to deal with. He is also dealing with anaphylactic food allergies to 6 of the 8 common food allergens and 4 other mild to severe food allergies as well. Two sessions after working with Shana his asthma was under control, and now months later I have only used the albuterol inhaler twice– that is a huge change from using it every other day or at least three times a month. Shana not only helped my son with his asthma, I am also noticing he is less likely to react to food allergens present in a room or playground. Aside from her knowledge and professional health care, Shana is very intuitive– which helped her figure out what my son is experiencing. She is loving, patient and very accesible. On a scale from 1 to 10 Shana delivers a 20!!!

I first met Shana when she was giving a talk about homeopathy and pregnancy and pediatrics and was immediately taken aback by her knowledge and presence. When my son was a few weeks old and was experiencing digestive upset, waking up every hour at night, I came to see her and she did a joint visit for myself and my son. We talked for over 2 hours and she suggested remedies for both my baby and me. Both the remedies worked right away. My son is now 6 months old and we continue to work together as things come up and I am continuously impressed by her thorough and compassionate care. I highly recommend her and am incredibly grateful to have found her.

I’ve been practicing Classical Homeopathy as my choice for primary healthcare for 10 years. Shana is my second practitioner that I have seen, which has been a steady relationship since May ’07.
What I look for in a Homeopath, is: 1) A significant positive support that is results-​oriented in optimal health physically, emotionally, mindfully, and spiritually for myself and my family. 2) Intuitive, yet not biased (yes, I believe this is possible). 3) Available and accessible. Shana delivers all three, and to top it off she is very cool, calm, integrative (and by that I mean she weaves together all the pieces intelligently), genuinely cares, and is refreshingly down to earth.
I am in my third pregnancy, the second of which Shana is supporting me– and for this I am grateful as there is true VALUE in consistently connecting with somebody who considers all the aspects of yourself in various phases in your life. A bit like a life therapist who is always checking in with the physical expressions of your body. Can’t get better than that in a health professional.
I highly recommend Shana for pregnancy, pre-​pregnancy, post-​pregnancy, parenting, young children (she has been treating my son who has suffered from baby eczema and who is now 16 months and doing very very well), teens (I also have a 13 year old she treats and who is thriving), and general life support… *especially* as a woman.
