Scott and one of his partners Hannah helped me to win a 2 year legal battle over some trees on my property that a «neighbor» hacked down. I first have to say that this is not Scotts area of expertise, but he helped me anyway. He and Hannah managed to build quite a case over time. With Soctts sharp tenacious legal savvy, and Hannah’s determination they were able to advise me how to stand up to the other parties manipulations and prove our case. I wouldn’t have begun to know how to handle this had I not had both of these legal professionals to protect me through this difficult process. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Scott again and his team of experts, couldn’t have done it without you!

I have both good and bad in this review. Let’s start with the good. I was involved in two Class Action suits that were being handled by this firm. The first was as a class member and the second as the class representative. The first suit was dismissed as a Class Action after a few years of work by the firm. The second is where my joy and frustration stem from. A young attorney by the name of Steven Ilg was working on this case. He argued through many briefs filed with the court that this suit should remain a Class Action due to the time it was filed. Too much info to type here, let’s just say he did a brilliant job of winning a battle against a Goliath law firm. He was written up in numerous law journals for this case. Then comes the bad… Scott Cole did not want to fight this through the appeal that was filed by the company’s law firm. All appearances pointed towards him wanting to settle for a lot less than the people in this case deserve while making sure that his firm received compensation from the settlement. My attorney from another suit looked this over at my request and found that indeed, Mr. Cole had misrepresented things they had discussed. I find some of the attorneys at this firm to be very good at their jobs, but have zero trust in Scott Cole from what I construe as half truths and flat out lies. Of course he denies the implications, but I have approached other attorneys who thought that there were grounds for a misrepresentation suit against this firm. This is, of course, my opinion only and I believe the promise of a payday outweighed right or wrong in this case. Welcome to the American system of justice.
I don’t have the desire to file another suit since I will just end up dealing with the lies and delays for many more years and the money is not worth the bother.
