Out of business. When I showed up during lunch time on March 282013, I could see through the glass doors that all the furniture is gone. Too bad, I was in the mood for Indian food. Unilocal also lists this address as «House Of Curries»

Had their bufffet lunch special for 9.99. Their food was very delicious at a good price. Their bread was also very fresh. I would go there again.

I love this restaurant. The buffet is always, always, always on point! For starters, they are not busy during lunch time, which is the only time I go because they have buffet. Everything is excellent. I love their Chicken Masala. On Wednesdays they have a mushroom masala that is to die for. I come here every week. I love this place! Customer service is touch and go. Sometimes the waitress is on top of it and is refilling waters, bringing baskets of bread to the table and just really on her game. Other times, she’s behind the counter twiddling her damn thumbs. I will continue to go.

The food is good, but it’s not«wait an hour after ordering to get your food, without compensation or apology» good. My friend & I ordered takeout, and I had enough time to eat my tikka masala before he got his tandoori chick. Nothing special, just very slow kitchen staff. No apology, no compensation, nothing except an attitude of «eh, we’re slow tonight, deal.» Skip this one; there’s better in Oakland.
