Established in 2000.

My clientèle is word-​of-​mouth, built since 1976 when I first started doing this type of work locally in Berkeley, and I appreciate the value of having the recommendation of someone you know, from both sides of the working relationship. Business Owner

Born in San Francisco, I grew up in Sunnyvale where, as a teenager, I worked for my general contractor neighbor, digging ditches, stacking lumber, sweeping and watching. Mid-‘70s, during one hiatus from my chemical engineering studies at Cal, I found work on a two-​story addition for an architect in Albany. There, I met a builder and electrician, who taught me a variety of trade skills: electrical, gas plumbing, carpentry, drywall, concrete, etc. After a few years, I began to do my own small jobs around Berkeley. I lived in McMinnville, OR during the ‘90s, worked for concrete/​paving contractors, did some small jobs for myself, and obtained an Oregon Contractor license. In 2000, I moved back to Oakland and acquired the California Contractors State License Board registration, #783 171. See wwwDOTcslbDOTcaDOTgov/
