Solid local spot, and I am biased because of this. Great place to watch a game. Good beer, wings, and fried catfish (awesome sauce).

We were first here on Cinco de Mayo in 2015 the limited menu was delicious! We are back again in August and the burger was great chicken Caesar salad was delicious. Came back again in October the burger wasn’t very good chicken Caesar salad was crappy. Went back again at the end of December chicken Caesar salad’s totally different and crappy Burger was crap. We won’t come back! It’s too bad because it’s so conveniently located next to the Oakland Children’s Hospital.

The waitress was nice. The food took one hour to come mine took an extra 25 minutes. By the time my food came all of my friends were done eating and ready to go. Very unprofessional and I won’t be returning.

This place is mismanaged and is ALWAYS understaffed. I’ve been 3 separate times and each time we experienced the same 3 issues
1. Our server was always on their 1^st day and didn’t know things like what beers were on tap, specials (if any) or where the men’s restroom was!
2. The food took forever to get to the table and we were given the same excuse, «The kitchen is understaffed tonight, sorry for the wait» Note– The food is not that bad.
3. We had to constantly remind our servers about our drink orders and often had to reorder the drink.
Now why would I return to this place so many times? I have a child @ the Children’s Hospital and the options are limited.
This place has the potential to be awesome but isn’t there quite yet.

Food is MUCH better now. Jamaal is an excellent bartender, drinks are just right. Staff is very friendly and the place is nice and clean (including bathrooms). Karaōke Friday nights are a great outting for friends to get together.

Taco Tuesday people head down to the funest bar for some great tacos and happy hr I wish I could be ther but I’m craving some ovo wings

Taco tuesday cheap good eats. A nice atmosphere and music. The staff is friendly and the food is affordable. Arrive early so you can park and have a table.

Lastnight was me & my girls 1^st time hitting up Taco Tuesdays at OVO in Oakland and we had a BLAST! Promoter Kamal had it POPPIN with the cuties as usual. And DJ B Bailey was playing the JAMS! The bartenders were awesome! (Robert, Shannie, Jamila) They looked good, were friendly, didn’t have us waiting, and their drinks were on point Jamila was our server and she was REALLY nice, always checked up on us, food didn’t take long to come out and it was HELLA good. (We ordered the steak nachos.) My 1^st experience at OVO was GREAT! I support this bar & restaurant!

Some places know how to hit a home run off of the first pitch and OVO is one of those places. My friend and I ordered happy hour wings with ranch sauce and also ordered pasta with grilled chicken.
I want to say the food is very good and Hungry black man left feeling like he gained 20 pounds lol! Our server Michael was awesome, he kept our water glasses full and was attentive to his tables. OVO scores on both service and food. Hungry black man will be back.

Beyond friendly folks and totally eatable food.

Came here on my lunch break since I work across the street we walk in and there is only 6 people at a single table so we figured service wouldn’t be to slow … WRONG, a guy walks up to us dressed in street clothes a red hoodie baggy jeans no name tag or nothing hands us some paper menus We ask him what he recommended he said «the burger is good» then walks away… Awkward.
Second guy come up to us in a black server uniform and apron asked if we wanted to start with drinks we order and we place our order. I decided on their Santa Fe chicken salad $ 10 food took 30min to come out my friend ordered a turkey club I Don’t know why it took 30 min for a salad and a sandwich :/​once the food was out we were pleasantly surprised by the portion size and it looked very good however the Santa Fe chicken salad comes with black beans and they didn’t smell so good so I tried one and yup they were old and had a bitter taste at this point I’m pretty upset because my lunch is almost over and I can’t even eat the food that was served to me because an item on my plate is old and probably expired I let the server know and he apologized and admired that something was wrong with the beans and brought back the salad without the beans this time, the salad was very good lots of flavor Just wish they would have been more careful on the freshness of their food beforehand so that I would have had a better experience Because of the incident they took off $ 4 from my $ 10 salad which by the time it was brought back out it was time for me to go back to work I was there for a whole hour and I was only able to take two bites of the second salad and box it up and take it to work. The flavor is there but the service is SO slow very inconvenient if you are stopping by on a lunch break don’t be fooled even if there is only a handful of people your going to be there a while.

Always a good time here! Friendly staff and awesome food! TV’S, music and good conversation. Food is fresh and seasoned very well. Very spacious and clean. Nice variety of local brews and spirits. Weekly specials posted on social media and sidewalk boards. Looking forward to see what else will be offered. Oakland ’ s Very Own OVO

I came for dinner on a Wednesday around 630. The bar was almost full but we were the only table seated at the time. I had a burger, OVO wings, and Quinton (one of the owners) brought us plain chicken wings to try. He was awesome and talked to us a lot and the food was great! The server fumbled a little with the menu but overall glad we stopped by. Will definitely be going back!

Here for the grand opening. Awesome atmosphere. Great food. Wonderful vibe. OMG good dessert! And you’ve got to get the house OVO drink. Wow. Don’t ask what’s in it… the list is too long. Lol would totally come back here.

Came here on a Friday night for the Grand Opening. Nice crowd, nice atmosphere, good vibe, good people. I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time but it looked delicious. Security outside is friendly, bartenders are nice and beautiful. Great place to watch the game and meet new people. Glad this place is open and has a good positive vibe.

Security was cool. Crowd was live. Tons of ladies!!! Food was coming left and right and looked delicious! I didn’t get a chance to eat because the place was buzzing with Warriors fans!
The bartenders came up a little short in terms of starting a tab for me. Didn’t quite get the best service, hence the one star deduction.
Nonetheless, it’s the kind of place where you can let your hair down and get your groove on! Open, inviting, sultry, and sexy!
Best OVO!

Great spot to gather with your friends especially for games. The OVO drink is a must had too many now I’m paying for it but totally worth it lol. Make sure you ask for Kima she is really sweet and helpful even though it got really busy she was still able to keep track off our large party. I’ll for sure be coming back :)

Best restaurant the food is very good. Customer service is a plus and it’s a great place to bring ur family to. The crowd is nice and the owners are always there working making sure the customers are satisifed. The bay area needed a new spot and this is it

It was my first visit and I was very iplease of the crowd the food and drinks. I will absolutely come again.

The ambience of The Lounge is very relaxing, even though you’re right on the busiest street in the area once you get in the door, you forget what’s outside. I tried the crab salad and it was real crab not like other places that give you imitation. I’ll definitely go back for the warriors playoffs. There’s tv’s everywhere so any seat is a good seat.
