Business Owner

Mercedes Corbell is a licensed architect whose firm, MCDA, is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and does work in both California and abroad. Mercedes has a passion for incorporating «sustainability» into the projects, in collaboration with the Clients. She is a LEED AP and is the co-​founder in 2003, with David Johnston, of the green building educational forum now part of Build it Green (as the «green building professional’s guild).

We help our clients through each phase of the architectural and design process. We work early on with a builder (s) for cost estimating, and are available during the construction process to shepard the project through to completion. We also offer «design consultations» at your home or building.

We bring a commitment to our Clients’ goals, a love of color, practical solutions to everyday needs, and long range thinking to all of our projects.
