History

Established in 2005.

Doug and Colleen McClair founded McClair Computer Solutions. Both have been in the IT industry for more than 25 years. Their careers have been roughly split between commercial and government experience. Throughout their professional careers, both Doug and Colleen have placed a strong emphasis on customer service.

Doug supports the network, Infrastructure and hardware side of the business. Doug has extensive knowledge in Network Architecture and Design, Storage Solutions, computer hardware and Security Systems. He has engineered and implemented creative, cost effective network and storage solutions saving companies hundreds of thousands.

Colleen supports the software development and database projects and provides her expertise in Project management to a large number of businesses.

Together, Doug and Colleen provide Web page design and development support, search engine optimization, social networking support and other creative solutions for our clients.

Business Owner

I have been in the computer industry for over 30 years. I have worked in small business environments, as well as large corporations. I worked at the Executive Office of the President for a number of years, and was instrumental in establishing the internet infrastructure needed to support the online presence of this highly visible organization.

I have worked in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia, as well as many locations in Europe including the UK, Russia and Germany. Here in the U.S., I have worked in at least 30 states, supporting clients in dozens of industries.

My dedication to customer service, and technical expertise from the past 30 years allows me to bring knowledge and resources in very unique ways to solve your business needs.

Colleen has a similarly lengthy career and expertise, with emphasis on software and database development, web development and support. Colleen has an MBA and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
