Lewis is excellent at what he does. He is my go-​to guy for work an all my old Martin guitars. He has an excellent knowledge base, is competent, experienced, super honest, respects what I have in mind for my instruments, and knows how to communicate what he has in mind clearly. I could not ask for a better guitar doctor.

i was referred to lewis by martin guitars for authorized warranty work on a vintage martin. lewis is both an exceptional craftsman and nice guy.
in addition to the magic he performed on my vintage martin, he did a PHENOMENAL job setting up my fender american deluxe 5-​string bass… including neck reset, truss rod adjustment, fret mill and misc. adjustments.
his thing is custom-​made bouzoukis, but he is a great guitar tech whether you need authorized martin service or not.
he mentioned in passing that he’s going to be offering set up workshops… just sayin’!
highly recommended.
